Gotham City Sirens sounds weird. Catwoman I suppose I get, but why would Harley and Ivy give a s*** about stopping Hush?
Streets of Gotham sounds fun, like Gotham Central with bigger names. I think that and Red Robin will cover my Batman needs for the foreseeable future.
Yay, more Black Beetle in Booster Gold. I was hoping we'd see more of him now that we know who he is. And written by Keith Giffen, no less.
Snap, Trautmann's writing a JSA vs. Kobra mini? I am all over that. I wonder if Checkmate will factor into it.
I'll have to wait and see how the regular JSA title is under Willingham and Sturges, though. Sturges is great but after the liberties he took in Batman's comics and Shadowpact, I'm wary of seeing Willingham write mainstream DC stuff. Jesus Merino's art is usually pretty solid, though, so that's a plus. I'll flip through their first issue and decide whether I want to give it a try at the shop.
I certainly hope that Flash costume on the cover of Last Days of Animal Man is not Wally's new costume. It looks really bland and boring. There are some other inconsistencies, as BW mentioned, so I'm thinking it's more likely an alternate reality or something.
Whoa, REBELS is an ongoing. I thought it was a mini-series. It's been great so far, so I'm happy.
Is that Artemis on the Secret Six cover? I don't know why I'm surprised, since Simone is writing both Wonder Woman and Secret Six, but S6 is the last place I would've expected to see Artemis. Looking forward to that story.
I was gonna drop Wonder Woman, but if Black Canary's guest-starring later, I suppose I can stick with it. On what world were WW and BC ever "the world's most sensational team," though?
Tao in Wildcats! It's about time they used him again. I can't wait to see what Gage does with him. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of Moll's art. I hope it won't be too bad.
North 40 sounds interesting. I may pick that up.
Greek Street sounds cool too. Modernized adaptations of Greek tragedies could be pretty sweet, especially with Gianfelice's art.
Crap, it's gonna take all the way until July to learn about Mr. Dark in Fables? I really want to get to his backstory sooner rather than later because, frankly, what we've seen of him in the present has been pretty underwhelming. Yeah, he's a big, scary, evil dude who looks like a tiny, waifish, emo kid, but there's gotta be more to him than that.
Wow, July sounds like a
huge month for House of Mystery. Can't wait for that. The story's been really, really intriguing so far.
Kaluta's art is certainly different from Hadley's, but the cover looks pretty good. I like that sketchy, somewhat ethereal style, especially for a Vertigo book centered on mysticism.
Northlanders looks great, as always.
