Yeah, I don't think Ronan needs to be a musclehead. Lee Pace is fine as is, with just a bulky suit of hi-tech armor.

Ronan is good news to me but I was hoping he was Warlock. Pace seems like a weird choice Ronan but hopefully he'll bulk up a bit and gives a good performance.

A: He auditioned for both, but it was his audition for Star-Lord that made me think he might be a good Ronan. And, boy, do I love him in this movie, both on and off screen.

I wanted more of him than we got, tbh, but what we got was good. Also, I found it amusing how easy it was to buy him as Orlando Bloom's dad/elder, considering Orlando's 2 years older than him.

He carried himself with such authority, and he's such a towering presence. I think he'll be a perfect Ronan.

As for Pace... I hope he's not as... theatrical as Ronan as he was in The Hobbit. I kept expecting him to throw up the jazz hands.
