Personally, I won't believe it until I see it. That would be sweet though!

What an awesome Valentine's day gift if it is indeed, true :)

Warner Bros. Taps JAKKS Pacific to Bring 'The King of Monsters' to Life with Toys Inspired by Legendary Pictures' Upcoming Theatrical Release of Godzilla
MALIBU, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--February 04, 2014--

With a nearly 60 year heritage, Godzilla and his trademark 'roar' are recognized throughout the world by fans of all ages. Leading U.S. toy and consumer products company JAKKS Pacific, Inc. (Nasdaq:JAKK) announced its partnership, under a licensing agreement, with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to bring this iconic and legendary figure to life with a line of large-scale figures and other toy products inspired by Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' much-anticipated feature film Godzilla, scheduled to premiere on May 16, 2014.

The line of Godzilla products by JAKKS is expected to include an Ultimate Large Scale Godzilla Figure with 12 points of articulation and a length of over 43" -- one of the largest toys in Godzilla history. JAKKS Pacific's licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to manufacture, distribute and market Godzilla toys and products marks a decade long partnership, which also includes recent collaborations for Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' Man of Steel and The Dark Knight Trilogy, properties also brought to life in JAKKS' Big Figures line.

"This new version of GODZILLA is an epic rebirth of the iconic Toho property that transcends the disaster movie genre. The monster himself is a symbol that has remained an indelible part of pop culture for the last 60 years," stated Emily Castel, Legendary's Chief Marketing Officer. "We can't wait for the fans to get their hands on the line of products that JAKKS and Warner Bros. have created that embody the experience of Godzilla, King of the Monsters."

"We are excited to partner with Warner Bros. Consumer Products once again to bring this world-renowned iconic figure to life in our Big Figures line. We have extensive experience in the creation and marketing of large scale figures based on powerhouse film franchises and we expect this new line of even bigger figures to make a true contribution to the Godzilla legacy," said Jack McGrath, Chief Operating Officer, JAKKS Pacific, Inc.

"As we gear up for the highly anticipated release of the epic feature Godzilla, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, WBCP is thrilled to partner with JAKKS Pacific on a larger than life figurine that will truly do justice to the 'King of Monsters,'" said Karen McTier, Executive Vice President, Domestic Licensing and Worldwide Marketing, Warner Bros. Consumer Products.

The Godzilla product line from JAKKS Pacific is expected to be available at major retailers in time for the theatrical release in May 2014.

Seems legit, with this posting:

Well, it only shows as much of godzilla as we've already seen before. Could easily be a rather sneaky photoshop creation, taking a shot from the old trailer, flipping it, and putting it amongst buildings.

A proper analysis would reveal the truth but I dont have time for that at the moment.

I will stay away from new trailers. They show too much of the movie...in many cases you can guess what's going to happen in the movie.

Its actually a screen cap from 7 seconds of trailer footage making its way around Tumblr. I'd link but the Hype looks down on such things.

If those screencaps were faked, nothing is real anymore. :(

I would LOVE if the trailer hit on the 12th!

To paraphrase Inherent Vice:

It's like what Godzilla always says to Mothra..."Hey, why don't we go eat some place?"

I ask for one thing, one....that his fires the atomic breathe blast and his spikes light up....blue...red, each is good.

:o and for a parody or a spoof, someone can edit it where his spikes light up pink and he fires out hello kitties onto monsters and people.

I don't like that he appears hunched over in all these shots, like in the 1998 movie.

I'd say he's about as hunched over as Godzilla 2000 and Kiryugoji. He's not full on theropod like Gino. Not even close.

I was thinking they could also try a "firin' mah lazor" meme :p

Well I man...we don't really know that yet. We haven't seen much footage of him moving in action. But he seems crouched and hunched over like 1998 Godzilla...alot.

Exclusive: Two Video Clips Reveal First Look at Second Godzilla 2014 Trailer!
Chris Picard said:
Legendary has an immense marketing campaign ready to launch next week! Originally, the plan was to start things off THIS week, but got delayed - much like the new trailer release date, which is now set for February 14th according to the Lebanese website, emileeid.com.

So, expect a TON of exciting Godzilla material next week as the true King of all marketing campaigns gets started!

First it's the 7th. Then the 12th. Now the 14th. Me confused.

:o

There's a lot of speculation and flimflam about this second trailer. Lots sites citing "sources". Hell, Godzilla-Movies is even being accused of making the whole thing up by some fans. Point is, it's all speculation at this point. I'm tired of speculation. Would it kill WB and Legendary to communicate with us time to time?

Oh well.

*puts on here we go again hardhat*

Yay next week yay....
