Apparently WB is going around sending C&D's to websites with these plot points (Didn't know that was illegal?)

Let you know If I get it

Damage done IMO. Most of these spoilers have been around for about a month now. Numerous people have seen them.

That said, they haven't waved their legal dick at the source of the spoilers yet.

The script pages were posted on a forum after a poster was asked to prove he wasn't lying. They got removed after someone with the script said it was real. So it's out in the wild, and it doesn't surprise me it's on 4chan. If it's not supposed to be on the Internet, it's on 4chan.

I like the spoilers so far. A lot of the details are already a part of the Toho canon, so it feels familiar. It'd be cool if [BLACKOUT]a monster we recognize showed up[/BLACKOUT], but the focus should rightly be on Godzilla.

It's really unfortunate how people are willing to spoil a movie just to get their five minutes of fame on the internet. There are people out there who prefer to not have their entertainment spoiled before it even gets officially released.

I'll be sure to avoid the internet more thoroughly should leaks and spoilers begin to spread.

It's become cool to ruin other peoples' fun online. It is what it is.

It can be done the right way and the wrong way.

Unfortunately, most of the time it's the wrong way and some idiot ruins it for a lot of people.

I've been waiting 10 years for this ****ing movie so no one I'm gonna let some chump ruin it for me.

Why not simply not read spoilers, then?

In this day and age, that's pretty ****ing hard to do, especially when it pertains to the first Godzilla film in 10 years and first American Godzilla film in 16.

Budget-wise it's gonna be interesting to see how Edwards pulls off some of these scenes. Then again Monsters looked amazing and it was made on a dime.

And he did the visual effects by himself. If he can create something on a dime and make it look amazing, imagine what he could do with $160 million.

I have done just that, doesn't make the whole spoiling deal any less unfortunate for others who are exposed(Who don't want to be spoiled or close to being spoiled), and for those who've tried to keep it off the net in the first place.(Pretty much WB)

All for the fame, all for the fame. Of course I did expect spoilers for this film, but not like this lol

At least the person kept the spoilers fairly vague rather than describing every small detail.

I read the spoilers. There were was really only one thing mentioned in them that you couldn't have figured out for yourself from all the officially released stuff. The script has all the key components to make a true Godzilla film.

I caved in and read them and.....I really dug what I read. It fits with most of the info released so far and has TOHO Godzilla DNA all over it and that's a good thing.

Another leak occurred today, toy related this time.

Slightly concerned about the size of the spines, but it is a toy, so there could be differences. Otherwise, I love it. Even the feet look better with this toy.

Saw it and I really dig it! It's pretty much close to thereal(pending licensor approval) deal. Has got to be the Jakks figure, which IIRC will retail for $30-$40.

That's the general consensus, Jakks. Figure really looks good to me, the feet are more flattering.

Now for the Mutos to leak...don't fail me internet!

I'm guessing it'll be the opening. Maybe 5-10 minutes.

It almost seems like this film will take a page of the various Toho films and have that 54 event be "canon"

I have to believe that that leaked script outline is by David Callaham and if it is, it actually fits within the Toho canon.

I wouldn't go that far. This is an all new continuity. Unrelated to any other films. But that's me.
