Godzilla looks amazing, and the CGI now can be even more realistic than a stuntman in a rubber suit. I can see it competing for a Visual Effects award next year already.

Legendary/WB are knocking this out of the park. Hope they have Edwards and Borenstien signed for sequels. Trailer was amazing. Story not given away at all but plenty of hints.
I know there are only supposed to be two mutos they either mutate or that's wrong.
Love the empire cover. Looks like the pose of the 2010 Comic-con T-shirt.

Not only will this probably be a damn great movie in its own right but this will be a huge date movie too. Guaranteed.

Lol...I'm a female and i would watch even the old Godzilla movies. Thing that I like is that this movie will hopefully erase the bad memory of Tristarzilla off the face of the Earth with one radioactive flame breath.

I've had that shirt a few years. Wore it to the mall one time with my wife. She was dressed to the nines. I had 4 people stop me out of the blue and compliment me on my shirt.

It is the best and most obnoxious shirt.

I wore it to a pre-screening of Pacific Rim the week before its release and received many compliments as well.

First off I absolutely love that Empire cover above, and can confirm so far this is my favorite look of Godzilla that I've seen in live action. I can see now even more so from the trailer and now the magazine cover Edwards saying the face and head is more "bear-like" in appearance which is a direction I really like.

Very bearlike indeed.

The face and body similarities are even more similar without all the hair.

Shaved bears are terrifying.

Actually just normal Polar bears are probably the best match. You can definitely see the influence in the trailer roar with the way the skin stretches. This Godzilla has jowls/cheeks instead of a crocodile mouth.

The feedback from GA on the trailers says it all.This could be the surprise blockbuster of the year. Really looking forward to this , does anyone know what that eerie music is . I know its from another film but damn that **** gets me fearful. Im going to go work soon and want to freak the people of ****** northampton when i have it on in my car. I can't wait for the offkey looks i will get hehe

Actually thats one thing ive noticed , the music and his roar are synced perfectly like it part of the same piece. Kinda reminds me of MOS and how they used the world engine noise as part of the score for that film.
