Agreed! I've always had the idea Anne recorded an album of songs, either originals or covers like her take on Queen's 'Sombody to Love'. She's got a great voice (classically trained soprano) and the people turned out to hear it.

I read an article which asked before the event what was she thinking. Well, the show was a success. As Meryl Streep said, "she is so game and up for anything. She has a goofy side, but her talent is deep and serious. She has done some challenging work in the past few years, and she is simply unafraid to jump off the high dive."

I also saw an article which read 'Anne Hathaway wears unflattering jeans', saying they're mom jeans. What silliness. People can't step outside and wear what they want and live their life without being critiqued. For what it's worth if Anne puts her jeans up for auction I'll buy them.

Eddie looks much more handsome on these 'casual' pictures than on those made in the studios. Glad that it works this way around for some people...

Funny, Skyfall is released in estonia a week earlier than in USA, on November 2nd... I planned to go watch it anyway, but if there's even a slightest possibility of seeing the new trailer...

Edit: heard some really harsh words on Russell's "Stars"....

Somebody's heard Russell's 'Stars'? I know someone didn't like his singing in the new trailer and said they weren't looking forward to hearing him sing 'Stars', but he doesn't sing 'Stars' in the new trailer. He sings a few lines of his part of 'One Day More'.

Saw this in tumblr.com - perhaps this is where the "Stars" reference comes from. But you can't compare that to his lines on ODM.

Saw a new Les Mis trailer before Skyfall - Eddie’s singing sounded wonderful & there was more barricade action & a brief moment of GIANT KILLIAN FACE on the screen. (We won’t talk about Russell Crowe though. I don’t even want to think about his version of Stars now.)

While we're anxiously waiting for the trailer and the film in general, I recommend this documentary about Les Miserables: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUoyk9vRBWo . It is quite old, but I think we see high quality clips from the original productions, which is quite interesting. Oh, and Cameron Mackintosh looks much better now than when he was younger. You might laugh a little bit when you see him.

Looks great! But the Helena picture just looks like an extremely cropped regular glamour shot of her, rather than her in makeup as Madame Thenardier. I'm presuming they won't have Madame Thenardier running around in full 2012 style makeup...

Maybe in the earlier scenes they have her appear more attractive, and then much more "Thenardier-like" in the later scenes in Paris, to emphasize how badly her fortunes have fallen.

Isn't that "Alice" on the left of the picture with Anne? I don't remember what her real name is, but just her character name from the 80s sitcom "Alice".

That looks like Anne is just getting in on the picture and the real subject is the girl in the middle (don't know who she is).

BTW that article suggests that maybe Anne could play the Liza Minelli role in Cabaret if there were a remake. I'd love to see her do that.
