That is SOOOOO 1966 of you to say!![]()
My mother introduced me to both musicals and The Beatles. In other words, she raised me right.

Full clip of "At the end of the day" is also on the web .... sigh, I wasn't meant to hear it this way...
I'm at the point where I could practically piece the movie together with clips
Every time I open imdb there's a new thread "FULL VERSION OF XXX"
I honestly don't understand why Jackman and Redmayne aren't getting as much praise, if not more, than Hathaway. Loved her so much. But the film just could not exist without those two.
15-20 minutes total, if that?

Some rumors I've heard about cut things and changes are really disheartening me. Maybe someone who's seen it can ease my mind a bit. There will be spoilers, so I'll use tags.
WARNING: INCOMING RANT.
1. I've heard talk that in "Javert's Suicide," it cuts from "It is either Valjean or Javert!" to "And my thoughts fly apart, etc", which, to me, makes no sense character-wise. The cut verses build up the breaking of Javert's psyche until his fatal jump, but without them it's like going from one extreme to another rather than building momentum like the song as written does.
2. I've heard Grantaire's verse in "Drink With Me" is gone. Why the hell would they cut that?! Not only does it show that there more to Grantaire than being a drunken idiot (who has some of the funniest lines in the show, but I digress) but him storming off after singing that verse and Enjolras's reaction also hint at the implied relationship between the two that's in the book. Argh!
3. I've heard that almost all of Bamatabois' (the *****e that harasses Fantine and gets her arrested) singing lines are gone. Why the **** would they hire a well-known West End actor-singer for that part and then cut most of his lines?
4. I also have heard that all but the last verse of "Beggars at The Feast" is gone. Yeesh, does Tom hate Sacha or something? Not only is "Dog Eats Dog" 100% gone (which is a shame, but not an unspeakable loss), but most of M. Thénardier's (and Mdme Thénardier as well, of course) final number. Ouch.
I saw the featurette, behind the scenes, and I don't get it.
The prostitutes look scary like clowns, with their heavy white makeup and bright colourful costumes.
Are prostitutes in olden days dressed like that? They look like they're suffering from some kind of diseases.
Highlights soundtrack is $15.99 on iTunes and $5 on AMazon MP3.![]()
Glad I got to see this early, so I don't feel spoiled/tempted.![]()

I've started to explore Rotten Tomatoes more closely, which I have done never before. "Enchanted" with Amy Adams has 93 % approval, which is ridiculous, I would've thought it has 7 % or something, and "Prometheus" has 74 % while it's probably one of the worst movies I've seen (I remember from some random review: characters acting as if they haven't got a single brain cell). I comfort myself now with "the less to Les Mis the better, apparently".
