Good call. Also, it could be an ego-hit to Lex PERSONALLY. ALL THIS TIME he's been top-dawg in his cooperation and making a difference in the world and he wasn't aware of the first alien walking amongst us? That should seriously get under the skin of Lex Luthor, who demands to be apart of all Government funding and in the "know." Hell, even Lois Lane of the Daily Planet got a call before good 'ol Lex about this "Russian-submarine."

Scary to think that fresh-faced Johnny Depp is only a few years younger than Cranston.

Wasn't it reported that WB and the studio practically monitor everything that is posted, or reported for that matter? I think Cranston would be a pretty damn big casting and the acting for this project would certainly sky-rocket, especially losing such names like Crowe and Costner. Might as well go for a pretty popular "C" that's on fire with hit audiences and now is the time to go with Cranston. I'm bigtime in his corner.

I don't feel that Lex should be a C-lister. In my mind he would be A-list like Affleck, Crowe and Costner.

How is Cranston still a C-Lister? He's at least B now. And what's the point of casting lesser A-List actors for Lex? They already have an A-Lister for Batman, they don't need to make Lex an A-lister too.
