I like Colin Farrell, but I just can't picture him as Lex.

I like Farrell a lot as an actor but I don't think he'd be a good fit for Lex. Also, the Daredevil connection should kill any chance of it anyway, even though he was the best part of the movie.

Kevin Spacey is an awesome actor but nah don't want him back as Lex. He belongs in the past franchise not the one where moving forward with.

I wish we would get a Captain Marvel movie. I remember a number of years ago it seemed like one was going to go into production and then the whole thing got sh**canned. I think the Rock was going to play Black Adam.

I know that this is a casting thread, but I think that we might be able to figure out the tier of actor that we might get by identifying how many movies we expect Lex to appear in. How many movies do you think that Lex will be in?

I'm expecting three movies from the Lex that is cast. This rules out the DiCaprio, Hanks, DDL suggestions to me. I think the best fit would be to find a good television actor or someone who's star is still on the rise so that WB can keep them on retainer.

Yeah, that's pretty sound logic. I can't imagine Lex would be a one-off villain. I assume that he'll be more of a behind-the-scenes guy in this film, with a more central villain role in MOS3 and/or Justice League.

What I'm kind of thinking is that he'll have a strong coming-out party in B/S, then slip into more of a supporting character (Superman 2) and then dawn the battle-suit as a physical threat and possibly address the kryptonite-cancer story.

As much as I like the Batman casting, it wasn't that big of a deal to me. I cared much more about who plays Lex and (potentially) Wonder Woman.
