It might be. But I think his role in Gladiator is what has sold me. He was such a good villain I just wanted to reach through the screen and stab him myself. That is how I want to feel about Lex.

Yeah that is true, but considering how secretive they are I'm surprised this was even leaked. My contention is where there's smoke there's definitely fire. So there is something to this...how much fire we'll eventually find out.

Yeah, that's my thoughts too. It fuels more speculation for the movie and JP is one to fuel it all by his lonesome.

I sincerely hope he takes it and it's funny because I just recently read him as a suggestion. I had read it before, but I always kind of dismissed him out of hand because I didn't think he would even look at a role like this. But...after seeing him recently in The Master I remember how great of an actor he is and I believe he could play the Lex I have always wanted to see on film.

I got my fingers crossed this "announcement" is the prelude to the real announcement.
