The Rock as Black Adam, he's perfect for that role. As Lex, MAYBE it could work. It would depend on the writing. He's certainly charismatic and charming enough to play Lex, and also imposing. I think that Denzel fits Lex better.

Highly doubt they're gonna cast the Rock as Lex, I really think he'll be doing asolo Lobo movie. If I had my way though he'd be getting cast as Black Adam in a Shazam movie.

I think he'd be better as Captain Marvel himself. Sure, he looks much like Adam, but he does very well in the kind of light role that Shazam should be. He would also look more distinct from Superman than most potential actors.

If you cast The Rock ,
Then the public KNOWS they are not getting Real Estate Lex.

What can Lex really do, physically? We know that this movie features Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. If I were Lex, I would avoid fisticuffs.

Yeah... I hope that the next Lex is a guy who is in great shape and looks like he could kick some ass... but he shouldn't be gargantuan. He should (at most) MAYBE look like he could last a couple rounds with Batman but that's about it. The Rock is just TOO huge for a character like Lex and I don't see him debulking for any role.

The Rock is one of few actors that could really resurrect the Green Lantern character. That would be an AMAZING financial move for DC to secure him as John Stewart. Just amazing. He's perfect for a role like that.
