What if WWE teamed up AJ with Zack Ryder and they faced Eve and Daniel Bryan?
I would support this!!!
What if WWE teamed up AJ with Zack Ryder and they faced Eve and Daniel Bryan?
Nope. Gonna watch Final Resolution from last year. That has the Iron Man match between Roode and AJ I think. And Angle vs Storm.
As much as I didn't like that they had Storm win at Lockdown, if TNA's drags it out to BFG and has Storm go over getting his big win, I'm all for it. The way thursday's promo set it up, they can make the program work out really well. This is actually the closest thing to an old-school, long-term wrestling program that I can remember.
That pretty much sums it up. Hogans whole WCW run was manipulation after manipulation. When he jobbed to Bily Kidman he did it for a guy he knew was never going to get over as opposed to someone like Bret Hart or Benoit or Jericho.
DDP just said the other day how that match with Savage basically made him a top star.
Savage never should have joined the NWO IMO. At least not the black and white. I've always felt him subjecting his will to a leader like Hogan was pretty out of character. He never seemed like the type to follow anybody. He and Hogan had their power struggle later but Savage should have been a tweener or independent entity in WCW.
NWO should of been Hogan, Hall, Nash, Pac, Steiner and Giant. Team WCW should of been Savage, DDP, Flair, Sting, Goldberg and Luger. NWO had too many members and I agree Savage should of never joined them.
And the Wolfpac vs. Hollywood storyline made even more no sense cause it was a civil war between the NWO and WCW just forgot all about the war they had with the NWO altogether and moved on to other stuff. Don't even know what the Wolfpac motives was? To eliminate NWO Hollywood and takeover wCw for themselves? Or just eliminate NWO Hollywood?
Why isn't that sick running lariat not Ryback's finisher?
I watched Impact for the first time in months. Didn't catch the beginning. I didn't see either Bischoff on the show. Are they gone or @least not gonna be on TV for a while? I'd really like to be able to watch TNA on a regular basis again.
Sweet, I have a channel called Universal HD and they replay Smackdown! at 1 AM!
You learn something new every day.
I think with Rock vs Brock for the WWE title they are basically sending the wrong message. It's saying the current generation doesn't stack up to the legends.
Edge not being locked in a contract might have to do with travel issues.
I'm glad for Jericho's success outside wrestling. I hope he does come back next year though. Maybe do a retirement match or challenge the streak.
Partake in the glory that is Daniel Bryan and his promos of YES! YES! YES!
Overall, I thought it was a good Smackdown. Bryan's promo, Del Rio/Show, that main event, hell even that tag match with the Usos (who are getting a good reaction lately)/Titus&Young.
Eh, the idea that the current generation doesn't stack up is already the mindset of the fanbase, whether WWE pushes the new guys or not.
I don't think it's a matter of "sending a message", more along the lines of it is capitalizing on things that the fanbase would actually want to see. I've got no beef with Rock v. Brock.
As far as Jericho goes, I'm glad that he's enjoying success outside of WWE, but it is frustrating watching him come back for just a couple months, only to leave and go on tour again for a band that nobody gives a crap about. I want to watch Jericho wrestling, not touring with a rock band.

There's been lots of talk on the blog recently about how thin the WWE roster is with the exodus of top talent in the past few years.
Occurred to me that the problem isn't so much the high turnover of stars at the top, that's happened before at the end of the Rock n Wrestling, New Generation and Attitude eras.
The issue is more how many of the WWE's headliners of the past 5 years have left without putting over any new stars on the way out.
HBK - Retired by the Undertaker
Flair - Retired by HBK
Batista - Quit following loss to Cena
RVD - Lost to Orton in a Stretcher Match
JBL - Quit after losing to Mysterio
Vince McMahon - Fired by HHH, lost last match to Bret Hart
Jericho - Left 1st time following loss to Cena, left second time following loss to Orton.
In all these guys leaving the WWE the wrestlers who got the rub on the way out were Cena, Orton, Mysterio, HHH, HBK and The Undertaker. All of them multi-time world champs by that point anyway.
On top of that you've got the ones that left due to unforeseen circumstances"
Angle - Left due to Wellness issues (last televised match a no contest against Sabu)
Edge - Retired as Champion defeating Del Rio in last match
Bobby Lashley - Quit while injured to pursue MMA
Umaga - Fired due to Wellness issues
Plus you've got the Benoit and Guerrero tragedies.
Then you've got HHH and Undertaker who are semi-retired. I don't think HHH has put over a new main eventer since Jeff Hardy and honestly cannot remember the last time Undertaker lost to someone who wasn't already a bona fide main eventer.
In fact in all this Jeff Hardy is probably the closest they've come to someone going out on their back, but then I really don't think they planned for him to go out to Punk like he did and it's not like they made anything of it.
Isn't this the root cause of the lack of elevation? Punk, Bryan, Barrett, Rhodes, Sheamus, Ziggler etc are all trying to make each other. Nobody from the previous generation (except maybe Booker?) is giving them a leg up.
What do you think?
She's cute enough. I find her far more attractive than Rosa and I normally love latin chicks.AJ is really nothing special not really attractive at all
*runs like all hell was at his feet*
ShameEric is gone but his kid is still there.

Oooh, what a coincidence with the bolded statement.
Whether it's in the mind of a lot of the fanbase or not that doesn't mean the company should treat it that way. I'm sure there were plenty of of the fanbase that thought Foley was better than HHH in 2000. Doesn't mean HHH shouldn't have beat him. I'm sure there were plenty of the fanbase that thought Hogan was better than the Rock. Doesn't mean Rock shouldn't have won. And I'm sure there were plenty who thought Brock shouldn't have beaten Rock. Doesn't mean Brock shouldn't have won.
Granted, WWE did this to themselves by not pushing new guys correctly with their nonsensical booking, cutting the legs out of pushes along the way. They need to start making up for it. And Chris Jericho can't be the only veteran taking losses and putting guys over, especially when a win over Rock, HHH, and even Brock would be a bigger deal as they're bigger names.
I counter it using the fact that the talent pool in FCW is on par to OVW when they had Lesnar, Batista, Orton, Shelton Benjamin, and Cena running around. Just wait until those guys get called up. I'm not worried about the future of WWE at all, because while some of Triple H's talent acquisitions havent been the best so far (Sin Cara, Kharma), it's obvious the guy has an eye for talent.I'm posting a lot this morning.
I was reading this comment on a blog. Thought it was interesting and would be worth a look:
I would counter this by saying Jericho's back, and he'll probably go out on his back to someone else on his way out before going on tour again.
Thoughts?
