Live Action 'Dumbo'

I only just noticed Colin Farrell is missing an arm in the movie.

Visually, this looks like a cross between The Greatest Showman and Big Fish. Gorgeous cinematography.

I'm still enjoying most of Burton's output (with the only two truly weak efforts being Charlie and Alice), so I'm really looking forward to this.

I'll always have a soft spot for Burton. I even liked Dark Shadows.

Just doesn't feel right without the mouse.

I sort of like that they don't have the mouse in this version. It makes it at least different in some respect. I don't want a straight retelling like they did with the live action Beauty and the Beast.

Overall, I liked this trailer a lot.

Not enough Jim Crow.

I'm curious to know when the dad loses an arm. That's dark.Or maybe he lost it in the war since we see him in uniform

This isn’t the Burton/Keaton reunion I was hoping for.

Looks fantastic. And I like the accent Michael Keaton is putting on. Glad to see him reuniting with Tim Burton along with Danny DeVito and his new Helena Bonham Carter muse Eva Green.

The mouse is in there, just not focused on in the trailer. He’s got his hat and everything.

Trailer looks interesting and like it’s going to be really emotional. It’s clear that the family looking after Dumbo is dealing with the loss of their mom and are in a way trying to bring her back by reuniting Dumbo with his mom. Might be wrong, but that’s the vibe I’m picking up.

Well that was actually a really good trailer. I'll be honest I wasn't looking forward to this much before, but compared to all the other live action Disney remakes coming out next year this is probably the one I'm looking forward to the most now. Love the cast as well.

They definitely have been working on the CG.

Man, so much emotional recall from that trailer. I'm gonna be a crying mess in the theaters, and Dumbo isn't even in my top 5 Disney movies.

I never really cared much for Dumbo, but I thought this trailer was fantastic. Definitely gonna be an emotional ride.

Yeah this movie looks like it is going to be a heartbreaker. I watched Dumbo for the first time in years a few months ago, and I had forgotten how sad that movie is. But I love it. This looks like it will be a return for good Burton, as opposed to lazy Burton.

I really want to like this movie but being an animal lover, I just cannot support a movie that has animals performing in a circus.

Sorry, I just don't think it's right. It makes me sick that this movie glorify animals performing in a circus as a form of entertainment.

Animals are subjected to cruelty, torture and abuse while being trained to perform in a circus.

PETA should be protesting against this.

Sorry, I won't be watching this in cinema. Not going to give my money to a movie that showcases the exploitation of animals.

If you are an animal lover, do consider boycott this movie.

That is a load of crap. I can love animals and support this movie. I don't care if you see this movie, but don't you dare insult me. If you don't like the movie and don't want to support it that is fine, but sharing an opinion and being an insulting jerk is something else. Go troll elsewhere. Thank you.
