mark my words, when they show the lizard a little more, most people will see that the design actually works

I didn't want him to look like a velociraptor or crocodile. Dr. Connor's serum is derived from lizard DNA for regenerative purposes. Those two species, along with Komodo dragons, cannot regenerate lost limbs. It makes no sense for The Lizard to resemble those creatures.

Whenever I think of The Lizard, I think of a humanoid skink:

I still agree with the guy who said snout would make talking look weird. That won me over. And to me he still has a snout obviously - just a very short one, unless anyone wants to find a human with his shaped head from the side?

I'm digging the humanoid look. It makes him creepy. I love how his right only has four fingers, because of there being no arm to begin with. Great little detail.

The eyes really help the look too. I love the Lizards look in this.

Like I mentioned before and as other did as well, it makes him look more creepy. And because of that I think it works better. If he would have had a Lizard head, people would go like "Man, he looks totally badass!". But the deformed, humanoid head, gives him something unsettling. It drives the 'man turned monster vibe" home, much better than if he would be full on Lizard. And IMO, it works also better if you still want him intelligent and being able to talk.

I only really want him to turn completely, if all of Connor's humanity is gone and he only acts on animal instinct.

Agreed. I think if he had tatters it would look even better.

I 100% think he will at some point though. Likely for the first transformation.

I don't mind a clothesless Lizard. Having him in full on, largely untattered garb would look silly.

I could see them maybe adding some tattered pieces of clothing. Kinda like TIH. In the Trailer, Hulk didn't have a tattered shirt, in the Movie, he did. Though he ripped that off after a couple seconds.

I was thinking this the other day after I saw the footage from NYC Sneak Peek.....what if this isnt the final version of him??? what if we will see something different with a bigger snout? Webb said that he still had a lot of work to be, and being 5 months out I could see this happening.

it really wouldnt be that hard to go in and change his face for the scenes in the trailers to make us think one thing but then give us something else.....

anyone else think this could happen?
