I'm a little confused. We know, based on the 2nd trailer, that Logan eventually shaves his beard, back into the traditional mutton-chops. But the scene from the first trailer where Logan blocks someone with claws, (presumably in the 3rd act) he has a full bushy beard back. So are we to assume that he goes from beard, to mutton-chops, back to beard again?

I asked Shawn Madden on twitter if he thinks we've seen anything from the third act.

His response was minimal, if any. I think the Forest Battle takes place after the fight outside the house.

He has the beard when he blocks the claws with his claws. But he has the chops during the forest battle. I doubt he would go back and forth.

The Mod (I'll just call him that lol) also said he was surprised that the last trailer didn't show the physical threat to Logan, Charles, and Laura.

I assume he was talking about [BLACKOUT]X-24[/BLACKOUT]

Regardless I think they've kept some things under wraps from the trailers.

They've done just a great job with Merchant as Caliban. He is just unrecognizable and seems to be a great new take on the character. Also excited for Boyd and Richard's performances. Could be as good as Cox's in X2.

The trailer was mostly made up of footage from the first act that was shown to the press. So they've kept a considerable amount under wraps I feel like.

I wonder how Caliban fits into the film. Yes we know he helps take of Xavier, but I feel like there has to be something more with his character.

We've seen him get captured, perhaps he's used by Pierce to track down Logan and co? I first assumed it was Kimura who'd help, but it could be Caliban.

Alright guys. Good old moderator from the chud forum responded to me about the supposed "third act".

"It's bull crap. It's clearly someone who learned some actual spoilers about the film and then tried to piece them together into a third act, but this isn't it."

However, he did say pieces of what was written are pulled from the actual film.

now the showrunner is saying legion does and can connect to film but it has to earn any crossover with films first.
