I didn't include DOFP on purpose as me and my girfriend recently re-watched it (2-3 months ago).
Unrelated, sort of, but there's a hardcore section of fandom I'll never understand. Going on this back and forth with a guy on Twitter who says that going to see Logan contributes to Marvel Studios not getting the X-Men film rights, so as a result, people shouldn't see the movie if they want mutants in the MCU.
What kind of logic is that? It's one thing to be petty like that, it's another to deprive yourself of what looks to be an enjoyable film just because mutants aren't in the universe you want them in.
I saw a trailer for this when I saw A Cure for Wellness today, and I lol'd way too hard at Professor X saying "She's eleven going on ****ing 19."
Same. If they want to connect it to something later on, they should just attach it to the beginning of the next movie or something. Let Logan be Logan.I feel like this might be a mistake but we'll see.
Please Cable and X-23
Doesn't even have to be a scene from or for the movie. Something like this would suffice:
Door opens to Hugh Jackmans trailer. And we see Mr Jackman wearing the classic Wolverine costume. He looks at the camera, smiles and says, "There. I'm in the suit. F***ing happy now?"

The movie is over by that point. Its a post-credit scene. IMO I don't see it as an issue. That would be an awkward shift in tone.
