Well yeah Logan was great. A great capper and send off for Hugh as Wolverine. Will probably end up beinh the best cbm this year. But people are over hyping it IMO. Im an emotional wreck after watching it. Damn.

Best superhero movie since The Dark Knight, and easily one of the top five superhero movies ever made. Hell of a send-off for Jackman and Stewart.

Even though I won't say that it's the best CB movie ever, after the first watching I'd say it's definitely top five, but I think that those emotional moments had something to do with it. Some scenes are still running through my head. I need to see Logan again.

I haven't been able to stop thinking about the movie since seeing it earlier either.

My thoughts too.

I was very impressed with the photography in this movie, especially the first 2 thirds. Looked gorgeous

If there ever was a superhero film worthy of awards consideration it's this one. The Dark Knight was obviously an incredible film, but this one locks down on more traditional awards checklists. Also, last two years we've got some unconventional nominations, like Fury Road or Hell or High Water, Logan absolutely deserves the same attention. I personally think this film was high above in quality compared to HoHW, which also was a tremendous film.

If they snub this then the year will be filled with some of the best material ever seen and Logan just can't make the cut, or the voters wont be able to get past their genre expectations.

Just got out. Goddamn movie had me tearing up a little.

I'll post my full review, but it's a 9.5/10.

Days of Future Past is my favorite X-Men movie but this is as good if not a little better.

X-MEN franchise needs to be taken serious again after Deadpool & Logan.

I'm still surprised at how fandom treats the X-franchise. Out of nine movies, only three haven't been well received, with six being either positive or "holy ****" extremely positive.

I'm always struck by the hate this series gets.

Same here, even now, you are already getting people saying Logan isn't as good as it's made out to be. It's every bit as good in my eyes.

I have also seen some on here say Apocalypse was one of the worst CBMs they have seen and the worst CBM of 2016. Just don't get that one.

I kind of get the X:A one. But as successful and respected as DoFP was... I can only imagine how it would be talked about if it had a Marvel Studios logo at the front and a Captain America shield or Stark Industries logo in the background at any point. ;)

The hard core MCU fans want xmen to go back to Disney. They'll only put their eye on average movies that support their narrative.

i liked it. i hope they keep laura (same actress)

ca'nt say id watch again, it is indeed nerve wrecking

I personally think it is an almost obsessive bit of brand loyalty. The fact that Marvel isn't personally making them, and Fox is doing it out of a license, creates a sense of it being a "cheat" to some fans.

But if you just view them all as movies, yes, Fox has made three of the best five superhero movies in the last five years. Of course, that is my opinion, but it takes a real bias to ignore the quality of First Class, DOFP, Deadpool, and Logan to me. Even The Wolverine is better than any DCEU film and a number of MCU entries.

I'm not saying you have to like them better than MCU or DCEU (though you should in the latter's case). Just the way folks write them off in fan communities always seems strange.

Everything is personal these days.

Can someone confirm is there a post-credit scene featuring Deadpool?

I'm seeing the film tomorrow and I've heard elsewhere there's nothing after the credits.

There is a special scene BEFORE the film starts, but nothing after the credits roll.

At least here in the USA.

So that thing with Deadpool that just leaked that's actually right before the film starts? Like right after the trailers?
