Also, maybe I'm missing it, but...what makes Charles' avocado line so funny? Both times I've seen it, that line got a laugh from the audience. There's nothing wrong with it- I'm just wondering what in tarnation makes that line so humorous.

I think a part of it is the fact it's a little clever since avocados spoil fast compared to other fruit, they're often delivered to stores quickly. On top of that it's Patrick Stewart's delivery as well as the fact that it's just a nutty analogy to make.

Saw it last night, so 'effin good. I'll hold back my opinion on how it ranks amongst my cbms just cos i usually ranks one with more repeat watchability higher, so need to go see it more than once.

On the one hand I'm like I hope others don't copy this and go all grim and dark, on the other I wouldn't mind seeing a few more grim small scale tales in the genre.

XMA 9 and The Last Stand 8?

:loco:

What's wrong with that? Apocalypse was an awful movie. The only X-Men film worse than it is origins. Although I'd watch Origins over Apocalypse any day. I' have zero interest in seeing Jennifer "sometimes Mystique" Lawrence lead the X-Men.

Rank Logan, The Wolverine and X-Men Origins : Wolverine.

Hello, I'm wathcing Logan in about 3 hours at the big screen, any advice from anyone who have already seen it?

Remember all the X-Men movies you've seen so far (both the good and the bad). Then let all of that go and just focus on what those movies made you feel. Forget the continuity, try and let go of whatever expectations you have, and just let the movie play out. This is what life looks like. Take a moment and allow yourself to feel it. ;)

My advice is go pee before the movie. You don't want to miss a moment.

Lol nice.

For any that care my podcast has our LOGAN review up. We talk about Wolverine in general and Hugh in the role first so skip to the 40min. mark if you just want to hear the review discussion.

Not sure if anyone's mentioned this but if they decide to make an X-23 movie with a full-grown Laura they could cast Sofia Boutella. She's an up-and-comer, has experience with R rated high octane comicbook movies, has already played an acrobatic, deadly assassin with blades attached to her limbs and she looks like an older Dafne Keen

No offense to Sofia who was great in Kingsman, but I wouldn't trade Dafne in for anyone right now. These films take time to make. I could see hell would want to see a film with Dafne playing X-23 under the age of 21. Developing as a person in her teen years etc.

^ I think Mangold and Fox are probably in agreement with you.
