Yeah I don't think anyone should get their expectations quite that high. It's probably just Deadpool announcing the film, which would be pretty cool for sure!

X-men films by saying if X-Men was part of MCU he would stick around

I don't like idea of wolverine as part of Avengers even in comics anymore than
I do SPider-man.Spider-man should be solo hero while if wolverine is part of team it should always be X-Men.

That's not what he said though. He said "if that was on the table when I made my decision, it certainly would have made me pause." And everybody in their right mind would at least pause to consider that.

But Fox isn't nearly the mess that sony is, so I'm thankful for that. We wouldn't have DOFP, Deadpool, Logan or Legion if that were the case.

Well, I don't want to start a fight but the reason I've loved X men movies more is because of it's more mature, discrimination based, sympathetic Villains and This isn't in MCU.
It's good for me Jackman not being a part of that.

well biggest reason why spider-man is part of MCu and not X-Men is fox isn't in the sorry shape Sony is in.remember rumor is sony may sell off it film and tv divisons.

Sony spent fortune to promate ASM2 plus it had larger production budget than Apocalypse.Apocalypse was hardly a bomb.fox's real 2016 bombs was ID sequel and assassin's creed.

even if fox did do what sony did jackman wouldn't play wolverine since X_Men would be rebooted.and this time no timetravel with allows members of OT to be around.

In 1980's and 1990's X-men and avengers tended to be seperate except for big company events like secret wars and Onslaught.plus the avengers/X-Men
crossover bloodlines which in present day is king od waste since they retconned quickislver and scarlet witch into inhumans and not being related to magneto.

I don't think he said anything negative about the X-Men films, I think he just meant that he has played the character through and through in this context, and would have liked to experience it with the Avengers as well since he hasn't done that. I think it makes a ton of sense. I wouldn't get bothered with this for one direction or another, I'm not biased enough haha. What Jennifer said about Mystique earlier was a lot more negative tbh.
