Hugh also improvised the lines in DOFP too like, "You wanna pick all that **** up?". Hugh just knows Wolverine inside and out so he can channel whatever he would say into the situation.

I'm sad that they cut the "I'm a princess. What are you?/ I'm the Wolverine." exchange at the Maximoff house in the film as well. I thought it continued the thematic thread from The Wolverine in which Logan comes to accept himself again. It was a great little bit.

Yes on both accounts, though I do get why that scene was cut. I should also really try to dial down my anticipation for this movie a little bit, but I just think it will be something very special. Only a few hours left now.

Both of my grand fathers did too before I lost them. I think it's going to be tough to watch Xavier like that. In a very real way he is the grand father of this franchise.

2:X-force may be set post logan if they want X-23 as part of it

it would be very easy to reveal Xavier didn't wipe out all the mutants in the incident but some who survived have been in hiding

it doesn't take a rocket scientist when you consider how X-23 took wolverine's place in comics for similar thing in films especilly with the raves she got for logan.

I think X-force would be set in present as same as Deadpool. X-23 is a future character and she is a child

One of the theaters near me has already sold out it's Thursday night showings. They add a new showtime almost everyday to keep up with demand.

If anyone is trying to make the time pass before their respective showings of Logan, BMD is doing a Logan week (I know, BMD of all places, right?) and Priscilla Page (one of my favorite writers on the BMD staff) has a great interview with Jim that's probably the most in depth from him during Logan's promotional run. It's a little light on Logan stuff, but gives great insight into his other works like Cop Land. With how great Logan seems to be, I bet people will have even more appreciation for his filmography, which on just a critical level, is probably the most accomplished of any director working on superhero films since Nolan.
