As far as I remember the rock salt shotgun shells on Supernatural only made the ghosts temporally disappear. I haven't watched Supernatural since season 10 and the show should have ended after season 5.

I remember when they defeated the literal Christian devil, and stopped the apocalypse. That was like, what, seven seasons ago? I assume they're fighting aliens or Cthulhu now.

I ignore the last few seconds of the last episode and it's a five season story with a good ending.
