VileOne how is the opening theme song for the show?

It's fantastic. It's sort of like a mix of like Shaft and Ennio Morricone and Marvel Comcis. There's a definite blaxploitation style to a lot of the music.

After reading all of the reviews, I'm pretty hyped for the show. Only two disappointing things I took away is this has similar pacing problems Daredevil and Jessica Jones had, and that Misty is Luke's semi-love interest. Why couldn't they have used Claire, seeing that she's in this series and was Luke's love interest in the early stories? And I just hope Danny doesn't date Colleen (can the H4H crew not all have to sleep with each other?). I can understand if they set him up with Joy Meachum initially, but it's going to be weird if Luke and Danny end up as eskimo bros. Hope we'll get to Danny/Misty somewhere down the line.

Still excited though. The music sounds amazing and TheVileOne's mention of the many easter eggs sounds intriguing.

1. Personally I didn't feel the pacing issues some did with DD and JJ, so I ain't scared on that one
2. If what the reviews have said about Misty are true, her being a love interest type shouldn't bother anyone too much. She sounds layered and capable and motivated. Besides, we all know Luke and Jess will be back together before long.

I've tried looking for an instance where Luke and Misty got together before in the comics. I've read it happened, but I haven't actually seen it. If anyone can help out with that, feel free.

I have a chance to watch episode 1-7 and they were fantastic. I especially loved Cottonmouth. Once again Marvel/Netflix proved they know how to made a great villain.

The reviews definitely have me even more excited about the show, especially all the praise for Simone as Misty. Not sure how I feel quite yet about an actual romance between her and Luke. A lot will depend on how it's written and affects a Misty/Danny romance. The writers better not screw this up! lol I'm wary because of what JJ did to Luke/Jessica. *sighs*

Well, you're guaranteed to get some kind of a reaction with Misty and Luke hooking up. If the writers are really going there, then they better make it good...really good.

Not necessarily. Misty isn't even confirmed for Iron Fist yet.

Well neither is Luke but there is always The Defenders and I'm confident that Misty will be included, even more so now that Simone and Marco Ramirez (one of The Defenders showrunners) are following each other on twitter. Yes, I know that isn't confirmation of anything but it's a pretty good sign.

Ha. Maybe not but I expect them to build towards Misty/Danny at some point. I know Matt/Elektra have a very different dynamic than Misty/Danny but I loved what the showrunners did with the former, so I'm optimistic.
