I'm not saying you shouldn't criticize GL, or that people should be blindly loyal to WB. I'm talking about the people who say they'll never trust WB because they have such an "awful track record."
I see, well I agree being biased against a studio is just as pointless as being loyal to one.

I remember. I've been posting here since 2005.

Oh, ok. I actually didn't have any real problems with the cast other than Martian Manhunter. I just couldn't help imagining him looking something like the version from the TV pilot years before that. :woot:

I actually agree with Faraci a lot of the time, but what makes him "the devil" in my book is the way he conducts himself. Just unpleasant.

First negative review from Daily Mirror.

Opinions are fine and all, but he essentially dismisses it as a generic blockbuster, and it hardly even gets into actual criticism beyond "There's not enough Max! Women are dressed too sexy!"

:/

If you hate T2, it makes you the goddamn devil in my book.

Also, I will see this on wednesday night. Hnnngh. Ya'll be jelly. :oldrazz:

Hate? Wow that's pretty silly. I am one of the few that champion the first over the second though.

Urgh...Thursday afternoon straight after work for me, then a rewatch with my girlfriend on Friday (she'll probably hate it, like she hates everything I watch, but welcome to the life bae :funny:)

I know he liked Avengers Age of Ultron. What about Mad Max?

From the looks of his review it's set to be one of his favourite films of the year, if not one of his favourite action films of all time. Pretty high praise.

It's the only way I can take RT and Metacritic seriously, it's not a bunch of genre fans and fanboys going nuts, they have people from all walks of life, with plenty of different perspectives on how films should be. That being said, it seems pretty fair that he was disappointed with the lack of the main character and a lack of a conventional spelt out plot, that's just how some people think and I'll bet that won't be the last review with those qualms.

That being said, The Daily Mirror is a horrible HORRIBLE newspaper and i wouldn't give it any hits if i were you, all of the "red tops" are just a prime example of the dregs of british society in both politics, society and culture.

When you are arguably worse then the Daily Mail, that tells you something. :funny:

I was talking about Devin. He hates T2 because he heats Cameron. He can't look pass that bs.

It is the same with JJ. Dude is so obvious. :funny:

Yeah it's the same with El Mayimbe, a lot of them have certain ways that go beyond their own personal opinion, it feels like pure bait for trolls and haters. It's like intentionally hating Chris Nolan or DC or Marvel or True Detective or whatever has a huge fan following, it gets their sites more hits and gets them more attention. I understand the appeal but I don't agree with that level of publicity ****ing.

And the shameful thing is, most people should already know the gig by now, but people keep giving attention and falling into that well placed trap.

I don't know of anyone who dislikes True Detective. Maybe some skepticism about the new season but not the first season!

"George Miller doesn't make bad movies", I say that every morning and it keeps my teeth white. Nice to see a hero director of mine get some recognition. I couldn't give a care what these critics think, but I'm seeing mad max all over the place and on social media. People opening their jackets and revealing cool runnings shirts if you will.

Go George Go.

Devil Faraci isn't Satan, but he'll do till the real one get's here.

now thats an action movie - Miller delivers
