With the confirmation of Liam's appearance, I'm about 80% confident that his scene is with Talia. What do you guys think that scene will be?

A flashback of him and Talia before she goes "undercover" as Tate in Gotham?
A flashback of him and Talia before he goes to Gotham (BB's events)?
A flashback of the two of them in the LoS headquarters to coincide with the time that Bruce is there?

I'd prefer the first two. Maybe a line of warning from Ra's to Talia to never fall in love with the enemy or something about always having to put her duty first before anything else?

Or maybe when he left for the mountains heart everything behind. Perhaps the death of his wife was too much, he couldn't cope and make amends and left all memories of his past behind and Talia is seeking revenge against him and resents Bruce for having a relationship with Ra's.

Her ultimate goal to destroy everything her father created one of those being Batman. But maybe not in a kill Bruce sort of way but a mend that anger that drives Batman and get him to be satisfied with being Bruce then when Bane comes someone needs to do something... And perhaps her life of revenge is cut short by the need for a hero.

That'd be kind of tragic

To me, that sounds nicer and more complex than just simply disliking her father's methods. Make her more of a rich character than I thought, if this turns out to be close to what will really happen.

I think it'd be cool. It's all speculation of course but yeah there's a depth in that idea that makes the character interesting and individual.

I hope so. It's no secret I love Nolan and to have him take a crack at characters like Selina and Talia is a dream come true. People puss on Nolan on these boards a lot but his characterizations are always on point and interesting, I can only dream how these characters are going to be in TDKR
