What's this Heroes and Heralds thing you guys are talking about?

It adds a card collecting element to the game. Different characters are assigned to different cards and they grant you different abilities and special effects.

It's going to be a free DLC add on, characters from both the Marvel and Capcom universes will be featured as cards and will have a a move you can add to the in game characters. Say Mega Man X has an air dash card, you can add it to Iron Fist or Ryu. Or Invisible Woman's card is to turn invisible, you can add it to Thor or Chun-Li and etc.

Just so fluid and I love the crazy damage Danny brings out once you land that first hit.

Justin Wong was beasting with Iron Fist. There is some debate where Iron Fist will stand once the game gets some more time to develop. Well, he is godly on the ground but this game is very air borne based. Anyway check it out here

Justin is King of Iron Fist! LOL i've been following his matches, he stated he's really having fun with the character. But yeah the idea behind Danny was to focus more on the ground, his mix up potential just picks up speed once the rekkas are linked.

I'm having a really hard time getting him to lvl 3 without drinking. Really doesn't help that I'm not too good at the game and can't pull off a long combo to save my life.

I just won two online matches in a row with CapA, Dante and Nova. I think I will practice a bit more with them but I think I found my go to team. Man I LOVE Nova. Favorite new addition. If I cant have Ms. Marvel, I guess he will do for now. I love his attacks and just visual effects of his moves. He is really awesome.

Yeah he's loads of fun once you get a handle on him (which is still a work in process for me) but he's got some powerful strikes and his assists have yet to fail me. "Blue blazes, I'm AWESOME!"

Havok what Nova assist are you using? I find the Centurion Rush to be his best one.

Definitely Centurion and Nova Strike for me.

I just love the team of Hawkeye/Cap/Hulk, Hawkeye/Wolverine/Nova and mix it up. Perfect balance on all fronts. With Hawkeye once you're on a roll he's almost virtually untouchable and his first hyper can do wicked damage once followed up with a combo.

Having fun with Dormammu, Vergil, and Morrigan...then subbing Nemesis for one of those...

...well I was originally gonna pick this up for 360 but that died in early Oct...I picked up a PS3 earlier in the week with this...

having a blast on offline......I'm terrible online but still having fun (0-3 at the moment...)...brings back memories of MvC 1 & 2...

I really, really, REALLY hope that those cards aren't character disconfirmations. Like 90% of my wishlist for both Marvel & Capcom are there. The only exceptions being M. Bison, Guile, Q, MM. Exe, Bass .Exe, Moon Knight, Gambit, Psylcoke & Venom.

Also, I'm LOOOOVING this game. I've already put 17 hours into it, compared to Vanilla where I put 64 hours into it throughout it's lifetime.

Mostly new characters. Maybe a few veterans like Psylocke and Mega Man.

According to some interview, I'll look for the link later, Niitsuma wanted to add 8 additional characters, but they had a deadline, so the game would be ready for christmas sales. IMO, that means definitely DLC or another version of the game. Or both like Street Fighter VI's Arcade Edition.

Its a definite but the question is when. Maybe June or September? I'll most likely get it as much as I hate this practice. As long as it has Ms. Marvel and Megaman, I'll be satisfiied

This is the first excuse for a third version. They'll slowly plant it into our minds.

It better just be freaking dlc at this point. I don't want them to shift a bunch of new balance changes and everything on a game that's only been out 5 months just for the sake of adding enough to make a new disc purchase. It's been frustrating enough getting used to Ultimate. I went 0-5 yesterday against somebody that I literally taught how to play this game in the last months or so of vanilla. This guy went 0-100 against me, and I'm the one that taught him how to play. He went 5-0 yesterday, and then had to go to bed before I could try to even it up. Dammit ultimate has been making me feel like a chump. It took me probably 4 months to get up to a decent level in vanilla, and just because of the system changes and how slow I am at learning fighting games, it's probably going to take another 4 months just to get to the level I was at in vanilla marvel. I was hoping to just pick up where I left off.

So yeah, I really hope they don't release a new third edition next year.
