Finally PSN is back and I did my first online match.....and lost. My team was Cap A, Wolverine and Phoenix vs Vergil, Dante and Wesker. Man did they decimate me. They took down my first 2 guys quickly, but I managed to do pretty well with Jean without her DP transformation, but the guy spammed Dante's Gun Hyper to take her out.

If Black Panther is just like Taskmaster and that's why they won't put him in,then just give us him as Taskmaster's alternate skin.

LOL i gave up on vanilla before Wesker rose to power. So I have no idea how to block right now lol eventually i'll get used to it. I missed way way too many blocks and some obvious throw techs

The Forward, Down, Diagonally Forward and Down moves are still my greatest weakness. Even moreso than doing combos.

for some reason in MvC3 I have trouble with reverse DP. I generally have zero issues in SF4. Probably because i'm used to the DP shortcut. Just need to end on Fwd. Must get this down consistently because Thor absolutely needs his mighty strikes for mobility

It's a bull excuse. That's all it is. Watch him be DLC or appear in the 3rd edition of the game.

Only played 1 ranked game and managed to win. Been working on a team of Spidey, Hulk and Nova. I like this version a lot. I used to have Iron Man as my 3rd member but he feels slow in this version.

Oddly enough, I have trouble doing the reverse DP teleport for Strider, yet I teleport all over the place with Wesker, and it's technically the same motion since I do it from both sides. Must just be a mental block.

I really need to level up my Nova, I keep seeing awesome looking combos online, but he's not easy to time combos with, nor is he easy to get in with.

Any PS3 owners have problems with Shuma and Jill? I dont see them anywhere in my download list and when I did a search for them on the store, its not showing up as purchased even though I downloaded them via my SE code back in the spring

so got the game last night. Hawkeye so far is my favorite newbie. And while I admire there attempt to be creative.... Phoenix Wright sucks... i enjoy the fact that he actually doesnt attack anyone... just sorta stumbles around accidentally attacking. But i have a really hard time controlling him, and also... what happens when you collect all 3 "clues" does he do some sort of special?

I just realized you can assembled a team of the Fantastic Four but there's absolutely no member of the core lineup. There's 3 replacements to be found though (and 3 interim members).

Is it just me or does it take alot longer to build up your super meter?

yeah, you get the "friend in need" achievement if you create a team of either She-Hulk, Spider-man, Ghostrider, and Storm. (not sure if they all need to be in there F4 costumes, but i put mine in them to get it)

probably, i guess it just depends if its only unlocked with costumes or just picking the characters.

my team was GR/Storm/SH all in there F4 attire

As said before it's BS and quite frankly laziness on their part. Since when has T'Challa ever used a bow and arrow? He's one of the MU's top combatant's and there are plenty of ways in making him stand out without looking like a copy of someone else or "too punchy". Like his energy daggers or the Spear of Bashenga would give him the perfect balance of both ends.

Really, due to his popularity and how much fans adore his marriage to Storm I think he'll be added in one way or another. But the whole Taskmaster thing is flawed.

Wright has three modes. The first is Investigation. That's when you need to collect the right three pieces of evidence.

When you do so, hit down, down + S to go into Trial mode. In this mode Wright gains access to new moves, which include using the evidence he collected as weapons.

To get to his last mode which is Turnabout, you must be in Trial mode first and hit your opponent with an "Objection!" bubble. That's when Wright becomes a monster.

I do agree he's bad, but only when he's in Investigation mode.

I won my first online match this morning. Team was Ryu, Cap A and Phoenix. I pretty much beat my opponent with the first 2 without even needing DP. Felt good.
