Capcom Marvel vs. Capcom 3

I'm really looking forward to see Dante. Him vs anyone in the Marvel Universe would just be an awesome sight. He could probably take on the best of them, seeing what crazy feats and stunts he pulled off in his games.

Yea Dante is bad ass.

I just hope they balance this game a bit more than the last Street Fighter. It was soooooo hard to do the proper powerful moves and combos.

And online was a nightmare. With people just constantly spamming certain unblockable moves and cheaters.

Actually, I would prefer it if it's like Street Fighter IV. I tried to play MvC2 and the air juggles didn't stop. I was annihilated. Against other players I didn't have a chance at all, they were literally performing 30-50 hit combos on me.

Happy that Chris is in the game (f*** Leon), but sad that the Marvel characters' costumes (See Wolverine's) may be out-of-date still.

Kinda hard to tell, but it looks like it's Astonishing to me.

Why Wolvie be in the teaser, when he's confirmed in the trailer? That has to be Hawkeye. Love me some Clint!

Can't wait for this game, definitely pre-ordering! It's now my third most anticipated game after Halo: Reach & Gears of War 3!

I don't really care too much, though it would be fun to see the characters interact together in these crazy what-if scenarios. And I want Deadpool's personality to shine through, which you need to do with cutscenes.

But I don't think we have to worry. Even Tatsunoko Vs Capcom had character endings. So this game will probably have them too.

no its not just you. It felt kinda flat and took out some of the personality that the other games had. I think it was mainly bc it was cut and paste for alot of the characters. They just threw everyone who ever appeared in a Marvel game in it so they didnt focus on any story. I think since they are starting from scratch, there might be some hope for more character interactions.

I really hope Jean Grey gets announced. I hated that she wasnt used at all in any of the 6 previous titles, save for Cyclops' ending in COTA

Since I have an undieing love for TvC I would love to see some revamping of their characters..namely Frank West and Zero had better carry over, as they were awesome and fun in TvC.

Awesome! I'm about 3 pages late on this, didn't even know it was confirmed yet. I was in another thread and saw Nathan's avy having Iron Man fighting Morrigan, and had a feeling.

Ok, so I took some screen caps and tried to make the silhouettes more visible. Which characters can you make out?

To me it looks like (from left to right) -

Capcom -
??. Short, almost a hump back, and what appears to be a skirt as it goes down below the knees below the Capcom sign. Also has a thin weapon by his/her side.
Ryu. Looks like his shoulder's (ripped cloth), and looks like his flowing bandana next to it.
??. It's a girl, I'd say Morrigan, but don't see wings. Definitely not Cammy, or Felicia tho.
Chun Li obviously.
??. Guy with a scarf around his neck. Could be Chris.


Marvel -
Deadpool
Doom
??. Looks like someone with swords, can't think of who atm.
Hawkeye or Wolverine. I'd say Wolverine, but the fin things look a bit small.
??. Short, seems to have messy hair and a cloak.



I can't wait tho. I really hope that while a lot of the main characters return (the Ryu's, Chun Li's, Wolverine's, and Spiderman's), that they also diver into the more obscure character list again.


Edit - I can see how a lot of ppl are saying that one is Cap and the guy with swords is Deadpool. I can see that. It's just that, to me, that the head of the first guy looks more like Deadpool's mask with the tail thing at the end, and the guy with swords head looks too smooth for me. However I think you guys are right, so Cap first, sword guy = Deadpool. It would be funny tho if the last guy is Mole Man. The cape does fit him a bit, it has that high collar on it, and he is short.

Personally I think it's about time they make Dr. Wily playable. His attacks could all revolve around his robotic minions...he would be awesome.

Take this with a grain of salt as I have no proof to back it up but a poster on another board told me that the same person which revealed the full roster to MuA2 in advance (which ended up being true) has said that the Xmen in this will be Cyclops, Wolverine, X-23 and Jean. I sure hope its true and I'll be on the lookout.

4 would be enough IMO. I don't want this to be like MUA and have like 6-8 X-Men related characters in the roster.

I don't want it filled with X-Men, but a couple more than four should be ok. I agree that X-23 would be silly with Wolverine already on the roster..but Gambit needs in...and Iceman.
