In the back of one of the levels theres a photographer who jumps up the same height as you if you do the super jump and do a 15 + combo and snaps a picture.

That's about all the Spiderman you're going to get in the game.

Well seeing as how SF4 was the latest SF game they probably wanted some representation from that game. They probably went with her because I believe she was heavily promoted.

SF is SF. The characters are not bunched in there by game, but rather by franchise. Its tough enough having Chun Li in there as the default female representing the series but thats acceptable considering she's the first and most recognizable. Cammy should be a close second after her and Id hate to see her get passed on for a relatively new character. Personally I dont care for Viper so dont really care to see her take up a slot here

I was talking about because that's the SF game she debuted in. Hell I'm glad we're getting a SF character who's never been in a vs game before.

And I hate to say this, but it looks like they're going the TVC route with the SF characters. And anymore than four would be overkill.

SF1 - Ryu
SF2 - Chun Li
SF3 - ?
SF4 - C. Viper

Or they could just put in Bison and have him represent Alpha(even though that wasn't his first appearance.) Because someone on the team said they liked writing for the SF and RE villains and Bison is the most appropriate addition because he's the preeminent SF villain and is a MVC vet. I don't even like him that much. I'd much rather have Juri, but I shouldn't let my preferences mess with my thinking.

That sucks, I loved Captain Commando.

I guess if their intent is to represent SFIV with a character created from that, C. Viper isn't the worst of choices, though I would still prefer Juri to her.

God, did I hate him...I hated ALL the SF4 noobs except C. Viper and Juri (KoF rip-offs they may be) and Abel (or "other Alex").

Gouken wasn't really new in the sense he's always been "around", just never playable.

They haven't mentioned Spidey. Someone said he wasn't in it just to stop the questions...like this! lol He has to be in it. Spider-man is Marvel's trademark as Batman is to DC and Ryu is to Capcom.

No offense, but come on dude. Spidey was confirmed the second this game was announced. Not only has his silhouette been shown, but there's a Spidey stage, will a Spidey balloon and Spidey billboard in the background. Plus he's Marvel's most popular character.

Thats what I thought but then I read a few comments here about him not appearing so it confused me lol.

If those comments mentioned something about licensing, pay no attention to them. If licensing were an issue then his likeness couldn't be used at all. Playable or not.

They could be saving him for TGS simply because it's a huge event and Spidey is a huge addition and would get people excited (even the Japanese love Spidey!).

or they will reveal him along with the release of Shattered Dimensions on the 7th.

viper is a dumb choice if she is indeed in.

guile and bison should be in the game and from the looks of it, one or both aren't going to be.

I hope they show a video of Spidey swooping in, then getting impaled, with the story of the game being offset by his brutal inter-dimensional murder, like the way they killed Lu Kang in that one MK's opening cutscene.

Yeah, I know that won't happen, but I want to see the reaction.

At this point, I think it would be rather funny if he werent in it at all. Make him a secret character that Capcom wont release till a week later, just to see people's heads explode
