I hated the fact Wolverine seems to have a move where he jumps in the air and a plasma "X" covers his body and does damage. It doesn't make sense. It doesn't seem like the characters are really fighting as much as just a fireworks display going on. Too much random stuff. I guess I'm disappointed because I was expecting something like this...

That game sucked a** tho. Did you ever even play MvC2???

Regarding the graphics, I think it's just one of those things where people don't know what they want.

I think thats exactly what it is, for me at least. I mean i dont know what i want. Honestly, i think i would of been happy with just slightly sharper MvC2 characters.

I'm really liking the line-up, the other Capcom line-ups sucked. Marvel vs series had too many SFs & X-Men, while Tatsonoko had too many no-bodies.

This game is representing all of the popular Capcom franchises. Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Mega Man, Dead Rising, Viewitiful Joe, Devil May Cry, Darksiders & Okami!

As far as the line-up goes, the choices so far have been boss. I get to play as the God of Thunder AND as the Incredible Hulk? Dare I say...marvelous? While I was at EVO, I overheard a lot of pro players digging its speed, too, so that's a plus. If they can make all the characters a little broken so even the best can get bodied, that'd be even better. Dante, Deadpool, and Super Skrull already look wildly fun to play as.

Really, I can't say enough about what I've seen so far. I get the concerns over MvC3 feeling too much like TvC, but I like where it stands right now as its own thing. Here's hoping the final build's good enough to follow up on the decade of MvC2.

hmmm we do need more marvel girls than just storm... i wouldn't object to it.

come to think of it... these would be the most likely candidates considering they're marvel's top females. (excluding invisible woman and emma frost since they've been confirmed not in the game) and storm who is either confirmed or pretty much confirmed...

-phoenix (lots of energy projection, visually would be cool for the game)
-she hulk (would be fun, but we already have a hulk)
-scarlet witch (see phoenix)
-black cat (could be alright... but we already have a felicia )
-elektra (possible, would play like a street fighter character)
-rogue (good chance since she's been in every marvel vs capcom game)
-ms. marvel (currently marvel's flagship female (so they're trying))
-black widow (hot off the heels of ironman 2)

other less popular choices but still possible would be...
-tigra (black cat would get the spot before her)
-dagger (i could see her pulled out just for an obscure part)
-medusa (see above)
-marrow (was in previous games)
-spiral (see above)
-lady deathstrike (i could really see her work well in the game)
-mystique (most likely not, her powers don't led any playability... just her fighting skills)
-X-23 (but we already have a wolverine)

Great choices but Id also throw in Psylocke as she seems to be the X-men's top female at the moment. Girl is making alot of appearances within the line since her comeback. Plus antime thres a choice between her or Elektra, I think Psylocke is the way to go. Both are ninja assasins who fight with weapons (sai and katana) but I think Psylocke is alot more versatile thanks to her mutant powers. She'd simply be more fun tio play as and easier to develop for.

Oh and FYI, Rogue hasnt been in every Marvel vs game. She was only in Xmen vs SF and MvC2. She wasnt playable in MSH vs SF nor MvC1

Oh **** yea Thor!I was expecting him because of the movie but I didn't expect an announcement so soon.Emma Frost isn't a big lost.But I would have loved Ghost Rider or Daredevil.They would have been awesome.But if Daredevil isn't in it then Elektra better stay the hell away.

i completely forgot about psylocke for some reason.... she'd def has a really huge chance.

Awesome, I'm officially interested in MvC3 again. Thor's new costume doesn't really pop quite as well in those screenshots as it does in the comics, but I'm sure it'll look great in action.

Nice to see that Capcom included Amaterasu, too. I still gotta play Okami sometime.

I don't mind the way he talks (I actually like the Shakespearean accent). It's just that some of his voice actors can't pull it off.
