Capcom seems to be doing a great job with creating a diverse lineup so far and choosing some unexpected choices and franchises. Assuming they continue, I hope these characters/franchises which were not represented in the previous games get consideration. I hope at least some of them make it

Joe wasnt in MvC though and I was treating those as 2 different series. I was going to put Captain Blue or Sexy Silvia but I figured they were too unknown from that franchise

i was thinking over the weekend they should add Beast to Marvels line up. hes never been in a game and i can see him being the "Blanka" of the game for those fans.

Well, Joe didn't exist at that point. And wasn't it confirmed earlier on that no Power Stone or Rival School characters made the cut? I remember reading something about that earlier in this thread

I didnt read that but dang that sucks. I loved the Power Stone and Rival School series. Capcom had some good 3D fighters on the Dreamcast. Well I guess there's still Plasma Sword/Star Gladiator

Oh man Mutant Academy one and two were awesome! I loved X-men Next Dimension but was pissed because Pyro was exclusive to the Xbox version. It would do you good to pick them up if you find them, very good game mechanics and well balanced. The destructable enviroments in XM:ND were awesome too.

indeed.. i loved those games.

i was mad though that we got Phoenix and Dark Phoenix... as well as Psylocke AND Betsy... Colossus and Iceman were REALLLY missing from those games.

I wish there were some Street Fighter EX characters were featured. Mainly Skullomania and Doctrine Dark. And then Rolento from Final Fight/Alpha

The Psylocke and Betsy was odd bc of the naming. They should have presnted it as Psylocke and Revanche.

yeah.... but it was still putting 2 of pretty much the same characters in a game.. wasting space. i mean they didnt even play that much differently... phoenix and dark phoenix had similar but way different visual stuff... but even having both of them wasnt needed...

i would have prefered only one phoenix.. and one revanche/psylocke and instead gotten Iceman and Colossus

I thought Psylocke and Betsy played differently. One focused on the TK and katanas she had recently aquired in the books and the other was more TP based with the butterflies from her British days. Still I can see where your coming from. Did you have an issue with 2 Prime Sentinels in this, one male and another female? lol

They can't use EX characters because they're owned by Akira. Not Capcom.
