Capcom Marvel vs. Capcom 3

That silhouette isn't new. It's among the rest of the silhouettes that were revealed when the game was announced.

And it's Dante. Not Wesker. Rebellion is on his back. You can clearly see part of the sword hilt sticking out over his shoulder. It makes no sense to be Wesker, because what would that thing on his shoulder be?

I thought Psylocke and Betsy played differently. One focused on the TK and katanas she had recently aquired in the books and the other was more TP based with the butterflies from her British days. Still I can see where your coming from. Did you have an issue with 2 Prime Sentinels in this, one male and another female? lol

i did, but one was HUGE and bulky while the other was smaller and faster. They had the larger playability difference. But again, would have prefered only one. that's 3 wasted spots that could have gone to others...

-emma frost (they were wearing the New X-men outfits on the cover.. so assume she was around)

would have all been better choices to add to the game.

Capcom seems to be doing a great job with creating a diverse lineup so far and choosing some unexpected choices and franchises. Assuming they continue, I hope these characters/franchises which were not represented in the previous games get consideration. I hope at least some of them make it

Nitsuma said there won't be Power Stone or Rival school characters. A Red earth character is possible, but i'm not sure about two of them. Same with Star Gladiator.

I did say she'd play diffrenrly from her cousin, but the fact is she's a hulk. With slots so limiting, I think many would consider her inclusion redundant when theres a wide diverse selection of others that could be put in. I wouldnt mind seeing She-Hulk in this but I really think Capcom is going for more variety across the board. I think her chances of being in are slim. If Hulk wasnt in for whatever reason, I think she'd have had a better shot.

Also, if her moves are different, she wouldn't be redundant. Have you read her books man? (no offence inteded by that btw).i can live with her not making it in, but i don't think it's as bad a shot as you think it is.

Btw, the Marvel side is being picked by Marvel themselves. Either way, as long as we get some Marvel females i'm good.

I dont expect all or any of those characters listed to be in the game. I said Id hope that they'd at least get some consideration. If at least one character represents the franchise, Id be okay with that. I dont think more obscure titles would get any more than that. What I listed were my top 2 choices of who Id have wanted from the series with either pick being an okay selection

Again I said I knew they'd play differently. Its the same issue with X-23 who was rumored early on. I argued that she'd play differently from Logan and would love to see her in the game but I can see why some would consider her redundant for obvious reasons.

i can see X-23 being the Ken to Wolverine's Ryu, but i do feel it would be a wasted slot. like in MvC2 what the hell was the point of having adamantium AND bone claw Wolverines, and Iron Man and War Machine were the same characters- literally.

do we know how big the roster is going to be?

The 2 Wolverines made no sense. The diffrences between them were too minor to warrant a slot. To this day, I dont think most even know what the difference was between them bc it was really insignificant

The reason for WM and IM was bc Capcom brought back everyone from the Marvel games into MvC2. They had IM in Marvel Super Heroes, but I think do to some liscensing issue, they couldnt have him in the original MvC1, hence why WM was in that. That issue got fixed by the time MvC2 out, so they just threw both of them in. I cant remmebr if bone Wolverine was in MvC1. That could explain why 2 of them were in MvC2

Ugh, it does look like Matrix-Wesker. Seems that's what RE fans want, though, so it's not surprising (strange, since it's the same RE fans who bash the films for having a lot of superhuman stuff, yet Matrix-Wesker is exactly that, but oh well).

The roster thus far has been kind of lackluster thus far for me. The only two I've really loved seeing is Thor and Amaterasu. I would be for Chun-Li, but she usually sucks in these games. Hopefully, Viewtiful Joe happens

I hope Wesker is in and he's my most wanted from RE to be in this. We already have Chris as the hero. Wesker seems like the most logical choice as a villian

It's nice to have Tyrant and the lickers in the background on one of the stages, though.

Newsarama has a supposed leaked character roster.

It's probably highly fake though, as it has Mr. Fantastic on it, and they've said no FF characters were going to be in the game, which is why they gave them Super Skrull to use.

It depends on which model they would use as there's been several. I would agree that Nemesis was definetly quite grotesque, but Mr. X, the tyrant from RE2, most definetly was not

He was talking about the first Tyrant. So instead of just being used in the Super for Jill, he would've wanted to make him a playable character.
