Capcom Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Being the big Darkstalker fan that I am, I can assure you guys that Morrigan is the "main character" of their series, with Dimitri being a close 2nd. Up til Jedah intervenes, most of the "storyline" is about how the Aensland (Morrigan) clan are at war with Dimitri, who is also trying to rule Makai (the world of the Darkstalkers).

Gotcha. Just wanted to clarify to that by saying the story was hazy to me and that it didn't stand out, and not remembering Donovan's name is more because I mainly played Darkstalkers in arcades. I really liked the series, and would love to see it get a new game, but when arcades are concerned, with the atmosphere and loud talking, I pretty much focus on the gameplay and not the story. So wasn't saying the story was bad, just that I didn't remember it.

Also the anime did touch on Morrigan's family, and Dimitri trying to take over, I do remember that. Not sure how close the anime followed the actual story. It showed a lot of the characters, but they were smaller parts. Jedah (think that's him, the fire guy) showed up and started challenging and beating Darkstalkers down around the world. Then it ended up with him vs. Donovan, where After getting impaled and losing most of his blood, Donovan got back up, and kicked Jedah's ass. I liked it, just been forever.


Also wanted to back up the comments about Hsien-Ko, I always liked her better than Felicias as well. Not that Felicia is a horrible character, but she's just not my style. Atleast gameplay wise I don't see the need for her to be 1 of 2 Darkstalker characters that usually get represented in something.

I don't think they're doing that as Dante/Trish and Morrigan/Felicia are all in.

They aren't Street Fighter characters.

They don't want to go overboard with SF characters like last time.

Actually the fire guy is an alien named Pyron. Jedah is from DS3. Purple demon.

Loki, the Punisher, and Dr. Strange confirmed for characters that didn't make the cut.

Shame to hear about the Darkstalkers cast. Demitri was pimp; it would've been nice to play as him or Jedah. Still, all the more reason to hope a Darkstalkers 4 arrives with insane quality.

I know and they've already hinted villains from Street Fighter. Bison seems most likely than someone like Gill, Seth, or Juri because he's a classic character and is much more famous.

I'd like Akuma, sadly he's just another Shotokan character. Seth is just a lame copy and paste character. And Gill from Street Fighter III... no, just no. But I'd love to see a smaller villain, I think Juri from SSFIV would be great. She's got a great fighting style and a nice psychotic personality.

I want Mega Man X. Mega Man had a move which would give him differen power ups in MvC, whcih granted him new abilities. I think it would be cool if X had a move which allowed him to change into differen armors and he'd have a different moveset based on which armor he was wearing. Id love to see the Force, Blade and Shadow armors in it

Eh, there all just Megaman to me honestly. I know that they're different, but the only Megaman games I care about anymore is the Legend series, so that's the only one I have any real attachment to. Any of them would be fine, though.

The main thing I want is if they put Roll in this again, I wish they'd put the one for Legends and not the one from the regular series

Well, I'm sure if she's in it, she'll suck anyway. I mean the Roll Tier must be represented, right? I mean just like that version of the character more.

If Roll is in (Which I hope she's not! ), it better not be the midget with the broom. Or the midget from the first MvC games. I don't know Legends Roll, but it should be either her or even the one from Battle Net. At least Battle Net Roll could be equipped with decent weapons I think.

She didn't actually fight in the games that I remember, but she did a lot of the inventing and stuff. If she were in the game, I'd imagine it'd either be similar to Tron Bonne in the older games (having a mech stuff and inventions) or just have modified version Megaman's weapons

Heck, even the Roll from the Megaman cartoon was better than the MvC one, as she had her own buster arm cannon for fighting

I actually never played the games where he was in, but I he was kinda sweet in the .EXE Anime. And he looked badass with the cloak. I wouldn't mind that version.



The regular Bass would be cool too though to see in the game.
