I like how they have no qualms basically saying, "everything Marvel related is due to the popularity of the tv shows and movies."
I'm not even keeping track, anymore.
Maybe I'll get it in two or three years when they sell the complete version for $9.99 in a discount sale.
this is coming out in less than 2 weeks and I'm barely hyped for it. sad.![]()

With Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinites release right around the corner, a final character has been revealed. Or, to be more accurate, a final form.
Be warned that there are minor spoilers ahead, but seeing as how we already know who the main enemy is, it shouldnt be too shocking if you want to take an early peek.
The team at EventHubs (via WWG) revealed leaked footage of the final boss, which has since been taken down. However, before the video was removed, screenshots were taken to show off Ultron Sigmas final form, as seen below (via a90skid). It appears Ultron will fuse into the giant head of Sigma to use blades, large claws, and control Sigmas beam cannon. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3s Galactus took on a similar style, turning into a gigantic version of itself.

The large version of Sigmas head is an iconic choice, as a majority of his final forms in the Mega Man X series show him as larger-than-life. Mega Man X, X2, and X6s final Sigma battles all feature his clown-like face needing to be taken down, but the most similar look to Infinites aesthetic is the opening and closing fights from Mega Man X5.

It also makes sense that Ultron and Sigma would fuse together as one, seeing as how both machines have been known to infect and take over other machinery. However, for the Marvel vs. Capcom universe, melding two playable characters together is a first, so its interesting to see the new direction Infiniteis taking. Perhaps we could see more characters fuse together down the line using a special Infinity Stone power or just out of sheer lore shenanigans.
If the games epic final battle seems appealing, theres still time to pre-order the fighter and earn a few launch day goodies. The Deluxe and Collectors editions of Infinite will give players four extra variant costumes. Warrior Thor, Evil Ryu, Gladiator Hulk, and Command Mission X will give the characters a new look, with hopefully more variant DLC to come for the other fighters down the line.

Fans can learn the interesting, comical, and crudely honest history of the Marvel vs. Capcom series from Smosh Games latest episode of Honest Game Trailers.
The new Honest Game Trailer gives the MvC series no quarter in its critique, with the booming-voiced narrator poking fun at the series over-stylized visuals, excruciatingly prolonged combos, and excessive roster sizes filled with several characters that probably dont belong in fighting games (looking at you, Phoenix Wright). The video also covers the new Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinitelaunching soonto remind fans that popular features like the third tag member and the X-men characters were left out of this installment.

On the more serious side of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite news, the games full trophy list was recently leaked. While the list is only available for PlayStation 4 at the moment, fans should expect the Xbox One and PC lists to be identical.

Even with just a few days to go until release, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite cant seem to escape leaks.
Early on, several characters were revealed by insiders and data miners before Capcom was able to announce them officially. More recently, both the first look at Ultron Sigmas final form and the games list of trophies hit the internet.
The latest big leak comes from Reddit user SeraphimWing, who purports to share the entire lineup of DLC characters coming as part of the games first season pass, along with Capcoms supposed plans for content down the line.
It should be said that while the news of new characters and additional DLC is exciting, its shaky whether or not the Reddit users information can be believed. Even though they say the information has been confirmed by two sources, theres no actual link to any proof such as screenshots, video, or documents. Another Reddit user also pointed out SeraphimWing had only been active on the site for three hours before posting the supposed leak. All in all, take the leak as more of a possibility than a sure thing. Youre going to want to wait for Capcoms official announcement to truly get excited.
With that said, the user gives the following information. Making up the games first season pass of DLC characters will be Sigma, Black Panther, Monster Hunter, Gill, Winter Soldier, and Venom. While five of the characters were previously revealed by data miners, Street Fighter IIIs final boss, Gill, is new in this leak.
The post goes into detail on each characters play styles, most of which are nods to either the game or comic they come from, like Sigmas ability to dash and teleport as in the Mega Man X games. Most notably, Gill will retain a majority of his moves from Street Fighter III, but his Resurrection ability will cost three special bars and can only be used once in battle.
Also, the developers made the character balanced by banning him from using the Soul Infinity Stone to resurrect his life once more.
Beginning in October, characters will supposedly be released in groups of two each month, starting with Sigma and Black Panther.
Players can decide to purchase both characters for $9.99 or individually for $5.99. In terms of free DLC and in-game secrets, Ultron Sigma, the games final boss, could be an unlockable character, requiring the player to beat the story mode on both difficulty settings. Additional surges and storms for the Infinity Stones are mentioned to appear as free DLC, as well as a new online tournament game mode.
As a final note, all of the previously mentioned DLC is expected to release before November 2017, leaving 2018s plans up in the air. The poster does mention without support that the development team has apparently been listening to fan feedback and is looking into bringing requested characters, like the X-Men, next year.
If this set of leaks turns out to be true, it seems Infinite players will have plenty of content to look forward to through the rest of the year. More importantly, the absence of staple Marvel characters like the X-Men has been a gripe for many fans heading into the new entry, so the possibility that the team is hearing the feedback is encouraging.

Who says Black Widow should be the base roster? Really? This isn't Ryu or Iron Man. A lot of you have some odd expectations. Especially as the characters "missing" wouldn't be new and there are so many complaints about a lack of new characters.
This game will be updated for the next 2 years. There will be more characters. They are already gearing up for Spring. This is exactly how it went last time. Ultimate didn't even come out a full year later then 3. Why are people suddenly surprised? Especially when Capcom has no control over the Marvel roster, or Wolverine would be in it.
It is interesting that very few seem concerned with the fact that the game apparently plays extremely well.
Black Widow doesn't excite me in the least. I can think of 10 more interesting female characters I'd rather see. They really couldn't come up with an exciting move set for Ms. Marvel? No She-Hulk?
Again, it's messed up that Black Panther and Sigma, characters featured in the story mode, are relegated to DLC.
