So is this better or worse than Injustice. I loved Injustice however Injustice 2 I am not to much of a fan of. I hate all the gears BS. I just wish much like Injustice that they would have given us alt. costumes.

Ya I'm not interested. And MVC3 was so damn fun. I just played it again a couple days ago.

Reviews across the board are very solid. I may check it out, but I'll probably just wait for the upcoming Marvel AAA titles. I think I've just outgrown this series and fighting games in general.

I think the game is actually pretty good. The story mode was damn cinematic. Gameplay is like a total reboot. Everyone plays differently in this game. I kinda think the gameplay is better than UMVC3. U can't punish players by juggling. You can still juggle if you can master it.

It is a total different beast. It's also being done (I think) to set up sequels.

I actually loved the visuals. Couldn't see a thing in UMVC3.

Sadly, the vets from UMVC3 are solely missed. Would love to see at least the Capcom chars come back from UMVC3. From Marvel, they need the at least Ant-Man, Star-Lord and Defenders.

Capcom debuted the trailer for upcoming Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite playable character Monster Hunter at Tokyo Game Show 2017.
Here’s an overview of the character, via Capcom:

A monster hunter from Val Habar, the nomadic desert town that fused with Wakanda. Monster hunters are experts at tracking and taking down monsters using weapons and armor forged from monster parts including scales and claws.





Hunters typically go by their given name, but this legendary hunter simply goes by Monster Hunter. She has been appointed as Black Panther’s right hand, a new tradition established to create harmony in the newly-formed nation of Valkanda and strengthen bonds in the fight against Ultron Sigma.




Monster Hunter fights with an arsenal of different weapons true to the Monster Hunter series, including a bow, dual blades, and a great sword.



Always adapting to the situation, she can power up using the Tartarus Stampede and Demolisher Demon Dance hyper combos, giving her additional properties on her dual blade attacks and vastly improving her mobility.



In addition, when used as one of her special moves, her great sword contains infinite hits of armor, easily soaking up any attacks that come her way. For those questing for a versatile character who can shoot enemies from afar while dealing heavy blows up close, Monster Hunter is here to make that quest complete.

Monster Hunter is part of the “2017 Character Pass,” which also includes Sigma, Black Panther, Winter Soldier, Black Widow, and Venom.

I admit, Monster Hunter looks pretty cool, and I love her design.

She's the 1st character that has got me really excited to use ( aside from Captain Marvel ).

since her trailer is first, I take it she will be released first? hope so.

also, I just noticed that it said "2017 Character Pass." I take that to mean there will be a 2018 Pass, a 2019 Pass, and so on. hope so.

Black Panther and Sigma are up first. She got a trailer because this was at the Tokyo Game Show, and Monster Hunter is insanely popular in Japan.

Funny thing is, some people actually considered the possibility of it being Black Widow from the Saturday Night Slammasters game and not Marvel's BW.

No, I mean the rumor is that first DLC will sepcifically be Sigma, BP, and Monster Hunter simeltaneously.

I mean, initially, we all thought we'd get Sigma and BP...then have to wait for the rest in pairs.

The rumor I meant, is that instead of pairs, instead of Sigma and BP being the first two DLC characters, we may be getting THREE at once, with the two-DLC package being a THREE DLC-package (Sigma + BP + MH).

I know that all of those characters were confirmed, I'm talking about getting those three first being the rumor instead of two at a time. That's the unconfirmed rumor.
