Marvel vs. Capcom: A Thread of Two Worlds

Why the hell would you put in Gwenpool over Spider-Gwen and Gwenpool over Deadpool? Stupid and makes no sense.

Hmm.... Venom. The new Brock version or Flash? Also, the list looses credibility when they list Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel as different characters.

Flash is referred to as Agent Venom so this wouldnt be him. In current continuity, Lee Price is the current host for Venom, so this would likely be him

As sabetose said and othere are starting to0 tell you. there's new miss marvel who of both Arab American decent and is a super powered off shoot of the inhuman's side who been around inthe books for some time now more then a year and she's also been showing up alot in games of late .

the only reason would be to use it as promotional tool for their lesser know like what both luke cage and iron fist used to be or for newer characters like Gwen pool, like what's done in the animated tv shows which have done so often. which is a smart move and video games have become bigger thing then movies at times and revenue they get too.

So it makes senses.

How ever if it seem it's at the expense of some people faves then you have problem's some times. the only smart way to not have any complaints would be to have big roster/ huge list of playable characters in that list/ roster instead of limited number.

but it's likely they'll do what they do with number of characters they like to put out in these fighter games.

If their roster was as huge as what was done with the e latest king of fighters game that came out last year or blaze blue that just recently came out last year as well, false speculation or not . at least we won't have complaints cause there's still room.

It makes about as much sense as leaving Mega Man out of a Marvel vs. Capcom roster.

Mega Man's in the first one. As for Zero over Mega Man, well, Zero's one of Capcom's most popular characters. Gwenpool on the other hand...

well it does if they want people to know of the character existence aqnd lern more about them. no different then what was said by my buddy and what he said on his youtube channel The Kingfisher 74 about the villain the hood as an example below

oh and if this has the weird some adverse effect of not making someone happy to hear this that this is indeed a thing that people learn about characters this way and want to explore them by even wanting to look at other stuff their in like the books them selves.

I can't do much for ya. especially those that say something that never was stated from me. I don't give damn them any more just saying that's what been happening.

The leak is almost certainly fake. They revealed their hand when they said Chun-Li won't be in the game but might be in later as DLC. Chun-Li has been in every single fighting game crossover Capcom has ever done and is one of their most recognizable characters, there's no way she isn't in this.

Gwenpool makes no sense on any level. None.

I know it'd make as much sense as putting Shuma Gortah in the game.

No, Shuma Gorath makes more sense considering his history with Marvel/Capcom fighting games. He was in Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and Marvel vs. Street Fighter.

Gwenpool is bizarre offshoot of Deadpool. Why would you put in Gwenpool instead of Deadpool? That's ridiculous. If you put in a Gwen Stacy character it would be her version of Spider-Woman aka Spider-Gwen.

Anyone seriously trying to justify Gwenpool in the game, are you for real?

No, Shuma Gorath makes more sense considering his history with Marvel/Capcom fighting games.

He wasn't a prominent or relevant character when he first made it into the series either. By their own account, the Capcom staff put him in because they found him in some obscure Marvel guidebook and just thought he looked cool. This series has always had its share of weird character choices.

Yeah, he's a standalone obscure monster and a Doctor Strange villain. Also, he at least has a unique design. Gwenpool is a dumb alternate mash-up of Gwen Stacy and Deadpool.

Gwenpool wouldn't be a weird just, just a stupid and dumb choice. Do you really want Gwenpool in this game over Deadpool?

Do you really want Gwenpool in this game over Deadpool?

I don't actually care either way, and if you actually read my post, I said the list is almost certainly fake anyway. Just saying "She's obscure" or redundant or whatever has literally never stopped any of the weird WTF character choices that have been made in these games. So if you're arguing on that specific category this is probably the wrong series.

And eh, I like her book just fine.

Marvel didn't even want Shuma to be in MVC3 since he seldomly appears in the comics and at the time they didn't have any plans for him. However Capcom begged Marvel for him and Marvel gave in only on the condition that he was just a DLC character.

However there's a chance that Shuma will appear in the Doctor Strange sequels, so if Capcom wants him back for Infinite, they probably won't have to beg Marvel this time.

I just really want a slew of Marvel characters this time... like... double the amount we've had... because we need a marvel fight game bad...

the Avengers Vs X-men crossover comic would have been a prime tie-in for that...

Well we are getting current gen ports of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 that includes all the content for that game. IMHO that's pretty good.

So you can play that game with all the added characters on your current game consoles

Not super excited on infinite based on the hinted game mechanics, but super pumped for the ultimate xbox one release, hit high lord but have been mia on it for a year and a half since getting rid of 360 when I got Xbox one. We'll have to set up some hype matches!

I bought UMvC3 on PS4 bc of the recent sale. I got excited and went to select Cyclops for my team and well....yeah

Cyclops is one of the characters that I hope returns in MvC:I. I missed him, Gambit and Cable in MvC3.I hope the rumor about X-men making it in as at least DLC is true. Wolverine, Storm, Deadpool, Magneto are all musts. I also really want Psylocke to return.

^Psylocke and Gambit are the 2 X characters I want the most. outside of the obvious ones like Wolverine and X-23.

Psylocke has so much potential to be more interesting now bc her powers and abilities have changed quite a bit in the past 20 years. Being able to use TK weapons in combat would make her quite different

I also want Jean Grey added and Id be fine if its based on the Teen version running around. They could get rid of the Phoenix powers which they traded off by making her health/defense so weak. An emphasis on TP and additional psionic based powers would be interesting
