Why the hell would you put in Gwenpool over Spider-Gwen and Gwenpool over Deadpool? Stupid and makes no sense.
Hmm.... Venom. The new Brock version or Flash? Also, the list looses credibility when they list Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel as different characters.
As sabetose said and othere are starting to0 tell you. there's new miss marvel who of both Arab American decent and is a super powered off shoot of the inhuman's side who been around inthe books for some time now more then a year and she's also been showing up alot in games of late .Hmm.... It makes about as much sense as leaving Mega Man out of a Marvel vs. Capcom roster.
the only reason would be to use it as promotional tool for their lesser know like what both luke cage and iron fist used to be or for newer characters like Gwen pool, like what's done in the animated tv shows which have done so often. which is a smart move and video games have become bigger thing then movies at times and revenue they get too.
So it makes senses.
How ever if it seem it's at the expense of some people faves then you have problem's some times. the only smart way to not have any complaints would be to have big roster/ huge list of playable characters in that list/ roster instead of limited number.
but it's likely they'll do what they do with number of characters they like to put out in these fighter games.
If their roster was as huge as what was done with the e latest king of fighters game that came out last year or blaze blue that just recently came out last year as well, false speculation or not . at least we won't have complaints cause there's still room.
well it does if they want people to know of the character existence aqnd lern more about them. no different then what was said by my buddy and what he said on his youtube channel The Kingfisher 74 about the villain the hood as an example belowGwenpool makes no sense on any level. None.

The leak is almost certainly fake. They revealed their hand when they said Chun-Li won't be in the game but might be in later as DLC. Chun-Li has been in every single fighting game crossover Capcom has ever done and is one of their most recognizable characters, there's no way she isn't in this.
I know it'd make as much sense as putting Shuma Gortah in the game.
No, Shuma Gorath makes more sense considering his history with Marvel/Capcom fighting games.
He wasn't a prominent or relevant character when he first made it into the series either. By their own account, the Capcom staff put him in because they found him in some obscure Marvel guidebook and just thought he looked cool. This series has always had its share of weird character choices.
Do you really want Gwenpool in this game over Deadpool?
