Yea I got it. It took me like 10 min to figure out the timing. Pretty damn cool tho. Going through all the costumes, I'm deff glad I only bought one pack. Most of em suck.

Same here. I wanted the Nova one at first but it's not that good in motion and I prefer the standard with the alt color schemes

I felt the same with 'Swagneto' but after seeing it, i just prefer the light purple alt he has.

I enjoy fighters and still casually play this game. Unfortunately I don't have much time these days so I'm out of practice and now get trashed online....I've ditched my main team (Morrigan/Dr. Doom/Hulk) and started only playing offline single player with whatever characters appeal to me at the time.

I tried SFxT but I did did not enjoy it...ended up coming back to SFIV and UMvC. I would still buy new character and new stage DLC for UMvC if they made it but I'm not spending any more money on SFxT.

Was there a reason why they couldn't have a Spidey villain? or did I miss something and they added it as a DLC? I would have loved if they had Mysterio or Doc Ock, I'd also be fine if they added Venom for a second time.

They never explained why there wasn't a Spidey villain. Apparently both Marvel & Capcom wanted Doc Ock in, but couldn't figure how to make him work in a fighting game. No idea why they didn't opt for someone else like Gobby or Venom.

I read a long time ago that according to Capcom, they wanted the original Venom and Marvel said no, and according to Marvel, Capcom never came to them about any version of Venom.

Well, they have made that excuse before, like they can't include Silver Surfer because the board wouldn't work etc. I'm not sure if they actully once said that about Ghost Rider's bike too..

I guess because so many of Spidey's villains basically similar powers to a lot of other heroes/villains they've used.

I dont think so as he has many unique villians. They should have used Shocker. Id have loved that but someone like Sandman could have been fun

Yea thats not happening. Im pretty sure Capcom has dumped support for this. It didn't sell well at all did it?

It didn't sell well plus the Capcom's UMvsC team has already moved along, so i don't think we will ever see any more content for this game, unfortunately.

Well, maybe we'll get Marvel vs. Capcom 4 after waiting for another ten years or so.

You're comparing a 2D sprite to a 3D model. Apples and oranges. The majority of Ock's moveset would most likely have him using his tentacles. Including hypers. Shuma barely even uses his and none of his hypers have him using them.

Also Omega Red tentacles came from his hands. With Ock you're working with an entire body plus tentacles. Plus Ock walks with his tentacles when he fights, while his body is extended in the air. Not only would he do command grabs, he would also do moves where he would poke in different areas. You would have to animate his movement in the air and on the ground. This would actually look pretty awesome because he could have tons of options with all of his limbs. Plus Ock doing an air combo would take a lot of figuring out for him. they would have to figure out how Ock would look as he is getting combo, so they have to animate the tentacles for that as well.

Pretty much this. The majority of the people that want Venom are casuals who only know him from the cartoons and past games and have no idea that he's not the same anymore. Marvel apparently wants to move on and wanted the Flash Thompson version. Had they put that one in, those people would be raging because they'd have no idea what's going on.

Yeah, they did say this for Ghost Rider. I think that was Capcom "derping" on the fact that the bike wasn't a big part of his combat and that he doesn't actually fight while riding it most of the time.

I'd like this as well. But then people would be expecting a roster as big as MVC3 or more and unless they used the same models and animations for MVC3, that want be happening, and those people will be calling them "lazy."

it could happen. it's not like they don't have enough characters for that kind of roster. why just add the FF, some spidey villains and some more x-men characters and you're almost there.
