Aria is awesome. Love her look & demeanour. Looking forward to playing alongside her. The female Turian look has been well done. The General looks like he might be interesting also. I'm expecting another top quality DLC.

I only had 20 mins to try before work but actually made a breakthrough on my 2nd Insanity run (was stuck on one of the N7 missions) so got distracted before being able to investigate where to start the DLC. Has anyone started it yet?

Yep comes out of the 4th. But only in the trilogy pack and the PSN store. I'm probably going to trade in the copy of ME2 that I have and get the pack. I never got ME3.

I also find this interesting since the now turned 3rd person shooter of XCOM will be reproducing some game elements from the mass Effect series it's self. most from the way you control your team mates if nothing else/ or more. it's spooky this came out today after you said this though. nothing to say on the DlC it's yet. I'm sure I'll enjoy it when I pick it up though.

Just going from the twitter rumblings it sounds like there are 2 more SP DLC's planned, one they currently are in the middle of working on and another that they are in the writing stage for.

Great, the more the better. Don't know why they are so threadbare/stingy on achievements/trophies though. I'm going to finish my 2nd Insanity playthrough, this time with all side missions & N7 missions (hopefully finally get the glitched Unwavering achievement) & then get on with Omega. Heard a few lukewarm opinions on it so far so will be good to hear from someone here when they've played it.

Finished Omega a few hours ago, it took me roughly 3-4 hours, I died a few times though. It was pretty interesting spending more time with Aria and the new mechs were hard as hell to kill!

How would you rate it next to Leviathan & Lair of the Shadow Broker?

I'm in the middle/near the end of it right now. I just hit hour 3, and based on where I am I can say the 3-4 hr figure is probably right, though I totally get the "twice as big" comment. You're just spending a much larger amount of time out on the mission than a usual ME setup, some of these levels are huge compared to a level from the main game/Leviathan. It feels dense.

I'm really liking it. As somebody who plays on Insanity regularly, the new Rampart Mechs are the biggest threat so far with the Adjutants being pretty neat as well.

Story wise I've really been liking the Aria and Nyreen stuff and how Shepard is tying into it. The occupation is presented well and they really take you across every inch of Omega. I need to finish it but I'd rate it Shadowbroker>Omega>Leviathan with the latter two close to one another. Nothing will probably ever top Shadowbroker I think in terms of DLC, simply because of emotional investment but Omega's got some very cool stuff if you like the setting.
