Mass Effect 3 - - - - - Part 14

I just got that DLC. Looking forward to giving it a run though eventually...But I just started Leviathan. Which is amazing so far btw.

There was no sneaking for me haha they would spot me immediately every time even if I tried to.

In other news, I finished the story portion and it was so satisfying that I wished so bad it was either post-game DLC or that it was the ending to ME3. Seriously, the scene where
you and your crew walk off into the "sunset" and Shep goes "Maybe we can get some shore leave without any explosions for once" and Wrex replies "Well maybe some explosions." Like, I couldn't stop smiling. It seriously would've been the best ending ever. I almost don't even want to finish the actual game now and just pretend that's the end.

For some reason I have a feeling this was originally conceived as post-ending dlc (for destroy, obv) but got nixed from the higher-ups. It works so much better as an epilogue (and is obviously meant to be played as such, given how incredibly jarring it would be to go into the real ending after this one).

The fact that you guys are saying that this seems like it should be post end game DLC makes me even more sad face that it's not.

Well, it would obviously only work if [blackout]Shepard's alive, and in 3 out of 4 possible choices, he's not.[/blackout] So I can see why they didn't go that route, but still...

Seriously, though, once you reach the end of the dlc, go no further. It's such a nice sendoff.

I agree. I seriously wish I saved it til after the ending. It's a way better ending to the franchise IMO.

What I'd give for a Jade Empire 2.

Cant believe the numbers are that low for FemShep uses.

I can't either since FemShep fans are so loud and annoying.

Alot of them bash MaleShep players and act like FemShep ia infinitely better, when the two are equal. Hell, FemShep isn't even Hale's best performance, that belongs to Ms Marvel in Avengers: EMH.

Kinda funny since I thought Hale was channeling Shepard for Ms. Marvel.

I like her as Bastila Shan a lot, but she doesn't really work for me as FemShep: I say that having a FemShep that I've taken across the series.

Hahaha. Agreee on all fronts.

I'm a bit over an hour into this DLC and I love it! Exactly what I was hoping for. Mass Effect has pretty much the best ensemble characters of any game I can think of.

Playing the trilogy for the first time and am on 2 right now. I'm currently playing like Captain Cook super charm diplomacy. But I can't wait to go back through and go total Renegade.

So... is this citadel DLC worth getting? i've heard that the combat is just as hard and annoying as Omega, and i'm not really looking forward to more of that...

Hard and annoying? I thought it was fairly easy.

Seriously? That last battle on Omega with the adjutants was annoyingly hard...at least for me.

I've heard hat it's kind of like that with Citadel. Now i'm excited for the other bits of the DlC, namely the reunion with your old friends, but if the combat is just like Omega...i dunno

I did not find Omega or Citadel that challenging, but the new mechs in Omega was pretty hard to kill though. But for me the best thing about Citadel is all the banter between your squadmates during combat.

I would say 3/4 of the DLC is not combat-related (unless you want to do the combat simulator, but that's basically multiplayer). Pretty fun and engaging, enemies are human and not reapers, so it's not too bad. I would highly recommend it if you're a fan of the characters.

Was it as annoying as the final battle on Earth in the core game? Because THAT was annoying.

I didnt find Omega hard at all and I played it on Insanity. But, as I said before, the beginning of Citadel was stupidly hard on Insanity. I'm sure it'd be fine on normal though.

Can you meet Jack in the Citadel DLC if you haven't romanced her? I've met everyone else but no word from Jack.

Yeah, you can meet her. Leave and enter your apartment. You should get new messages.

I'm looking it up right now. 2 requirements are obviously beating the Grissom Academy and talking to her in the Purgatory bar.
