Mass Effect 3 - - - - - Part 14

Gotcha sounds good, I was looking to get the Mass Effect trilogy set on the PS3 since I've stopped using my 360. I'd love to have the chance to play all three again, but I sure don't think I'll have the time to engage into such a deep world with as many games as I'm behind as is.

:cmad:

Same here, I hardly ever replay even my favourite campaign games (although I keep them all) as I'm just permanently catching up.

Sorry bud, recently moved on my own in another part of the country. Trying to save money now and spending on XBL just doesn't make sense for me when I can play online on the PS3 for free. I do miss playing Reach and Gears 3 though.

Haha, no worries man. Do whatever works out best for you & good luck with the move :word:

I'll miss ya though. :csad:

Wonder if there will be anything new involving ME at E3?

Its sounding like DA3 is going to get unveiled at E3. If anything is planned for ME this year I am expecting it to be at the tail end, maybe a reveal at Spike VGA's or some such.

Might announce what exactly the ME project/projects are but DA sure to be the big focus. High hopes for that!

I just started playing this game earlier in the week and am officially addicted to it's multiplayer. It's just so fun.

I can't believe I missed out on this series all those years.

So I finally got to play through Omega and Citadel DLCs. I had a Shepard that I played through ME1 and 2, but not 3, so I decided to use her. I thought the Omega DLC was really fun, and I liked the atmosphere a lot. I really liked the level design, and the Adjutants were fun to fight. The story not particularly compelling, and I was really disappointed that we were't really given a good opportunity to walk around the station after it was finished.

The Citadel DLC, on the other hand, was absolutely fantastic. I still haven't done the party (I'm waiting until after Horizon), but I beat the story portion and have done most of the character meet ups (except Miranda). This is such a great way to end the trilogy. I thought the story missions were fun, and it was great to have Wrex as a squad mate again. I've gotten addicted to playing Armax Arsenal Arena with my ME2 squadmantes.

After I finish this playthrough, I'm going to go back to my original Shepard's save file, and just run through the DLC. She chose destroy, so I can head-cannon that it takes place after the end. What a great way to say goodbye to Shepard and her allies.

So guys... what are some of the Shepard's you've created?

Mine are...

Andrew Shepard: Earthborn, war hero, paragon, soldier.

Jessica Shepard: Colonist, ruthless, (anti-hero) renegade, soldier.

Lauren Shepard: Spacer, soul survivor, paragon, infiltrator.

One of each class, all named after their love interests so I can keep them straight. Personally prefer Vanguards and Soldiers, and a paragon male/renegade female Shepard rather than the other way around (Jennifer Hale sounds bored as paragon, and Mark Meer is awesome but sometimes overdoes it as renegade).

I also just finished a custom trailer for Mass Effect 2, if anyone is interested in that sort of thing:

Playing through the game again and had no clue that [blackout]Mordin[/blackout] could make it out alive. I thought he was destined to die

I just read that you get an oldschool cooldown, no clips lancer in the Citadel DLC.

**** just needs to on sale...

HuH? I also thought that wasn't possible. Does it mean (if you know) that if alive he appears in future parts of the game where other teammates appear like Citadel and the end of the campaign or just that he finished the [BLACKOUT]Tuchanka[/BLACKOUT] sequence alive and isn't mentioned again?

It's only for a specific set of circumstances.
It requires that Wrex and Eve are dead and you convince Mordin that Wreav would lead the Krogan to war against everyone. Mordin sabotages the cure and agrees to fake his death to ensure the deception isn't uncovered. Basically only way you're gonna see this is if you start ME3 from scratch...or just hate the Krogan consistently for 3 games.

As far as I know, the only time he appears after that is during the battle on Earth where you can call your old squadmates. He says something about working on the Crucible. But I haven't gone through the Citadel DLC with that playthrough, so I don't know if he contacts you at the party or anything.

He doesn't show up in Citadel either way but he gets a "game ending" screenshot if he lives. You can also talk to him on vid-com before the final battle IIRC.

Thanks for that. Would never have come close to happening in any genuine playthrough of mine then.

Well his death scene was so good that it's probably best left as is.

Agreed. I actually kinda stopped playing my renegade playthrough partly because I wanted to remember the characters/outcomes of my Paragon as my lasting impression lol.

Well Im playing with my Renegade character for my second run so yeah she screwed over the [BLACKOUT]Krogans[/BLACKOUT], every chance she got. It really shocked me when I saw him not die bc I thought that death was unavoidable

I've only played Renegade once... In Me1. Ever continued it or played Renegade again. I can't even fake being that big of a prick.

Never even punched out that annoying reporter in the later games?

I did. But then I would reload my save because it wouldn't fit my Shepard to do something like that. I only ever get renegade, when I allow my Shepard to get super pissed at the enemy. But for the most part, he can control himself.
