Yeah, I've figured since 2017 that Serkis would show up eventually in Reeves' trilogy. Just a matter of what role the two decide works best for him.

I’d be into it. I think it will be kind of dumb to have two concurrent Gotham based franchises with no crossover... just retcon Battinson to be the DCEU Batman and move on.

I don't want him doing any mo-cap. Poor guy deserves more live-action roles. I know he's basically the king of mo-cap, but I think it's a disservice to him as an actor to keep pigeonholing him into that sort of thing.

He comes across as more of a Jervis Tetch than an Oswald Cobblepot.

I could definitely see him as Penguin. Put him in make up and such. Penguin has never been one of my favorite villains. The best he's ever been was in BR so that's a character you can take creative liberties with and I don't think there are any Penguin fan zones out there who will care much.

I think she is a great Harley Quinn but I truly want Reeve's Batman to be stand alone. Keep it away from the stink that is BvS, Suicide Squad and Justice League.

Then good for him and the actors who had to be in a sloppy first film. I just would prefer this be a stand alone series. Although it was cool seeing Killer Croc in SS looking like his early appearances, I have always preferred the large and more animalistic/monstrous version. I know some hate it but that's always been the one I like the most. That's just one small example out of multiple on why I don't want this connected to the DCEU.
