Well I think most around here would throw a party but yeah. Best way to put it is "fluid" or "loose continuity" where it all exists together but you can choose to ignore what you want.

Unless you are doing a 30 movie story arch it doesnt much matter to most people what other heroes are doing outside of their own films. (or specific crossovers) Let each corner be its thing and if you want later cross them over. Seems to work just fine in the comics.

Yeah, but we don’t need it. There’s no point in making a movie that resets continuity when you’re outright contradicting it (WW and presumably WW84) and recasting actors (The Batman and eventually Superman).

I forget which websites to trust but a number of them are reporting that Andy Serkis may have nabbed the role of Penguin. I think most of them are just trying to get clicks from using fan rumors and casting wants.

Exactly. I mean it could work like DOFP worked or it could just be a massive cluster. Best to just move on and forget it ever happened. If you want to address it at some point in the future go ahead but there is no real need to audiences have shown they have no problem ignoring things and starting fresh. I mean how many Spidermen have we had? How many Batmen? How many Hulks? We are about to get our third incarnation of the X-Men and probably our third Fantastic Four as well.

People dont care, they just want to be entertained.

Honestly I dont know it confused me in many ways but it was entertaining. I doubt Flashpoint would be seen as such by most of the audience.

It isnt a reboot which is probably why it works. Reboots in films kind of suck. Hell fans dont even like them in comics many times. It creates more headaches than it fixes.

I think what Thomas Polito is saying is we'll hear the first wave of names of potential candidates for Catwoman by the end of this month, not that the casting will be finalized by then.

Some stuff can slip through the cracks but the mods probably look after something as big as The Batman like hawks.

Usually, people working on the movie project update their respective details as they're already registered on that site. For example, a stunt coordinator will add movie's name under his profile page if he's attached to the project. (when the said movie starts shooting.)

If anyone adds / edits false info, the original person (who created that profile page) can edit out that info. So, if a movie is under production, we usually get somewhat reliable info as that info is monitored.
