Then it's completely bizarre to go after big-time American comedians. I'm really puzzled by all of this.

Hopefully Warner don't fall for Jonah Hill's annoying ass, delusional as ****.
But please no Seth Rogen

I hate Adam Sandler as a person so I'd rather not. I know he's a talented actor but god does he make some dog****. It would look like controversial casting for the sake of controversial casting.

Like R-Patz if all you knew him from was Twilight?

What an awful villain cast this was shaping to be. So much delays to come up with this ha

If they weren't trying to get a big name to play the Penguin, I would suggest Paul Walter Hauser.

Adam Sandler Penguin and Bill Hader Riddler

This is smart. Personally, it's Jonah Hill's loss and he will likely kick himself over this someday when he looks back on it.

I would think getting the chance to play a Batman villain in a fresh, new take on the franchise -- opposite one of the best working actors today and with a strong filmmaker at the helm -- might be worth taking a pay cut.

They are probably hoping the comedians' desire to be seen in a "new light" will trump their desire for $$$, lol. It's a unique kind of opportunity that they probably don't get offered much.

They should go after Jim Carrey for the Riddler.

I was in the middle of writing how brilliant and inspired of a choice that is, until I remembered 1995. :funny:

It’s still kinda brilliant, but also now an improbability,

Jack Black as Penguin is a great choice too.

Jack Black as the Penguin would be quite good choice if not Jonah Hill. It might be the perfect opportunity for Jack to showcase his talent in a negative role

I would certainly prefer Jack Black over Rogen, at any rate.
