Thanks for the kind words... As for the Animation, I used the animation tool in Photoshop CS3. I just scanned my progress on the picture about 10 times as I worked on it... then made a PS file with all of those scans as layers. With the animation tool, you can do tween frames that fade from one layer to the next.

If you want REALLY specific instructions, let me know.

Yeah... I'm trying to get back into a more realistic style every now and then. I may just do comic or cartoon type just for the contest for a while.

thanks... glad you liked it... its kinda weird doing a cartoon version of that. at a certain point i felt like i'd lost all objectivity of whether it was a good representation or not. my friend and I are MASSIVE fans of that sketch (and mr show in general) so i knew he'd get the joke, but I wanted it to be a decent representation, none the less. nice to here it worked, at least on some level!

what did you do these on? they are really good.

all the stuff (other than the sketches that were obviously done with pencil by hand) is done in photoshop. I generally sketch things out, the reproduce them in photoshop and all color and shading and whatever else is needed. glad to here you liked some of them! thanks for the kind words!

For my first more realistic thing in years, I'm happy enough with it. All the work I've done coloring pics in photoshop made the shading process with a pencil much faster, from what I remember.

yeah... the meds are knocking me on my a$$. I slept 14.5 hours between noon yesterday and 7am today. I usually get about 6 hours. I'm a zombie.
