So, I'm having a really good time with this. I actually played the three 'Castlevania' games for NES for a bit to get ideas for this pic. The first monster I decided to include is Medusa's head... they fly at you almost constantly in the game. Here's a quick sketch...

Also, I've finished the outline of Medusa's head, and added in with my Simon picture. I also added loads of the details to Simon:

Thanks! That Rogue pic was one of the first pics I did where is wasn't just a single character standing around. Not overly thrilled with it, but it was a step forward for me... glad you liked it!

Finally done with my entry for this month...

I was ALL OVER the place with ideas for this month's contest, but I settled on 'Castlevania' cause I love the game and also since I have monsters on the brain after watching 'Monster Squad' recently.

I tried to include monsters from some of the early NES games (like flying Medusa heads, Skeletons that throw bones @ you, etc.)

On the issue of red hair, I was kinda basing this off of the early NES games, (since those are the only ones I ever played... not much of a gamer) and in looking at stuff from that game, I guess I just imagined brown hair. In other words.... I had NO idea he was supposed to have red hair. My bad.

As for the grave stones, I had fun with that. I used mine as my signature for the pic, the date being the date I finished the picture.

Then I had the other two... I figured if I did one for Keith where 'Mars' showed, and one for Veronica... some evil genius would eventually put two and two together. You are that evil genius.

ps: the date on the Mars graves is the date the series finale aired in the US.
