This is truly wonderful news. A box office run clearing half a billion dollars for an F4 film has always been unheard of…until now.

It is wonderful news as far as I'm concerned.

I appreciate the film may not have had the box office that alot of fandom , online pundits, and Disney/ Marvel may have expected or hoped for.

But what Marvel Studios did do is , produce was a good Fantastic Four film ,after 30 years and 3 other attempts .

I ultimately think that the F4 franchise will be rewarded for that , as long as the studio continues to tell emotional, and compelling stories, revolving around those four characters .

The franchise may not ever reach the box office heights of other popular Marvel characters, and as a fan of these characters, I can accept that.

But the key is to have future generations embrace the Fantastic Four , and to inspire future creative teams it to keep making F4 films, long after Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn , and Ebon Moss Bacharach retire the roles, and pass the baton to a new group of talented actors.
