In 2030, Chris and Chris will still be younger than Robert Downey Jr., Hugh Jackman and Ming Na Wen are right now. They're not aging out during the next three phases. Neither is Pratt, or Boseman, or Cumberbatch or Olsen or Larsen and certainly not Holland. The only characters aging out by 15 years time are Stark, Fury, Vision and maybe Ant-Man, and that's only IF they don't recast. The Avengers aren't going anywhere. And even if they were, that doesn't explain why the FF fighting their own villains needs to happen in the Avengers movies.

However the two Chris's characters depend upon showing super athletic bodies which they share with Hugh Jackman where as RDJ is a man in a suit. I am sure that emergency contingency planning includes having a paralyzed character trade armored suits should something horrible happen .

In any case neither RDJ or Don Cheadle need to body build for the role making it easier for a middle-aged actor there relative to a Captain America, Wolverine or Thor

I don't think Paul Rudd ages.:cwink:

I will be forever mystfied by prioritizing F4 villains over Avengers villains for the Avengers. It sounds just as silly as demanding Reed Richards match wits with Baron Zemo.

Why not, that sounds awesome.

Plus galactus is a global threat and he would take more than the ff to take down (although they should play a big role in that)

Recasting.

Do you recast younger? That's quite a challenge for lead actors in a connected cinematic universe. Unlike your prior Batmen, Bonds and Spideys, swapping out RDJ for a up and comer portraying a twenty something Tony Stark would represent a major break in continuity. If Feige and company decide to go younger I would prefer they put some other character in the suit.

They didn't cast an up and coming twenty-something Tony Stark for Iron Man 1, why would they do it this time? He's been middle-aged since the get-go.

If you're not looking to shave off at least a couple of decades, why not just keep RDJ? Hes been pretty good!

Sure, if he's willing. They'd be stupid to just dump him.

phase four needs Kang.

The Kree and the Skrulls would need 3 movies, 1 for each for them and 1 to show battles on both fronts.

After the Infinity Wars, taking the fight to the Kree and Skrulls would be an excellent choice. I think Mojo would be an excellent "major threat" to build up to again. Can you imagine Mojo with the Infinity Gauntlet after Thanos?

No more big bads preferably. Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet is the biggest one ever. Trying to up that would be kinda lame.

I don't care as long as I don't have to wait more than one Phase to see his/her defeat.

That is my thought as well. Perhaps Thanos should fight in an animated elimination tournament with Galactus and the others since there is only so much screen time to redo basically the same story with another big bad.

I love a good big bad to be honest. And I would hate to see someone like doom as a done in one guy

Galactus should be the overarching villain of phase 4-6 like Thanos was for 1-3, and Doom should replace Loki as the most featured villain during that time.

Gallactus and Doom are both bigger. Kang done right could come close to Thanos' level too.

As characters, sure. But I meant power wise.

I still want to see Doom and Galactus, in multiple movies even. But they shouldn't try to make them "big".

How is Galactus not on this poll? For the next "big event", I'd say him, Kang, or The Fault would be the best choices.

With the Fox deal going through, Kang seems the logical choice. Before that, I was going to make the suggestion of the Celestials, but that's probably just my dream plan.

I'd love for the focus to be on groups of bad guys, for the group movies, instead of a single 'big bad' (and not hero team vs. hero team, actual *bad guys*).

If we get an MCU Norman Osborn in the next Spider-Man then we could have Dark Reign. Osborn done right is a ruthless cross between Lex Luthor and the Joker which would be a great change of pace after a cosmic threat like Thanos.

They could give him Ultimate version style powers rather than a costume/gadgets but still have him taking over Shield, taking Stark's tech, putting his own Avengers together and cutting deals with other MCU villains. Plus I figure that's a cleverer way to have a team of villains than a straight up Sinister Six/Masters of Evil style approach.

I have no doubt that Osborn will be an overarching villain at some point, just too good to resist. I hope they avoid the Ultimate version though.

Id prefer a non-cosmic villian. We already have that with Thanos

Doom. We're at the height of cbm's most likely and we're all not getting any younger. Screw waiting around 10 years. Give us the ultimate big bad in comic books now I say.
