The big loser here is Ant Man. Not only was there no mention of that film as far as I could tell, Fiege said that Captain America: Civil War would kick off Phase 3...so Ant Man is seemingly this forgotten film that comes after Avengers at the end of Phase 2.

My order of excitement:

Avengers: Infinity War (I mean cause...come on!)
Captain America: Civil War
Thor Ragnarok
Gaurdians of the Galaxy 2 - will be higher once we find out what the movie is actually about
Dr. Strange
Black Panther
Inhumans
Ant-Man
Captain Marvel
This is tough to do, but mine is probably:

Duh
Black Panther
Dr. Strange
Captain America 3
Ant-man
Thor 3
Guardians 2
Inhumans
Captain Marvel

I can see Inhumans and Capt. Marvel working like this: It does the whole origin thing and fighting off a major baddie like usual but they actually happen parallel to the events of Infinity War part 1 so by the end of their respective films they actually are thrust into the conflict of IW and thus hit the ground running in part 2

BAES!!! :hrt::fhm::hrt:

So by the time the Infinity War Pt II rolls around we'll have at least:

Captain America
Iron Man
Thor
Hulk
Black Widow
Hawkeye
Nick Fury
Vision
Quicksilver
Scarlet Witch
Black Panther
Ant-Man
Captain Marvel
War Machine
Falcon

As well as:
The Inhumans
The Guardians of the Galaxy

And this is only the movies we're talkin. Not sure if Defenders will factor in, but they'll be around too.

Movie's gonna be huge.

This event was to announce new news, not stuff currently in production.

I disagree, I think a great Hulk movie can be done were they dont have to follow that formula, which is why no solo movie is so disappointing to me. I just feel in a team/group setting Hulk gets the shaft a little, looking back his screen-time in Avengers 1 really was minimal, hopefully this changes.
Oh I thought he was the superstar of the 1st film. :woot:

If they don't follow that formula I'd be a lot more optimistic about it. Hulk is probably my favourite character of the Avengers but I only like rather than love the films we've had so far. Hopefully they give us something that blows those 2 away at some point soon. I prefer Ruffalo as Banner also, even up against 2 top & very well known actors.

It's called 'The Incredible Hulk' syndrome. :o

*cough*Guardians*cough*

Considering that the same sources who pretty much nailed today's lineup weeks and months ago --- Faraci, El Mayimbe, Moriarty --- also scooped Planet Hulk, I'd say odds are now *very* high that GOTG2 will be Planet Hulk after all, as reported. Gunn has flat-out denied it, but methinks he doth protest too much.

You know what's funny? John Campea on AMC Movie Talk would have to eat his own words. I remember him in one video(I forget which one) flipping out on why Avengers 3 being a two-parter is a stupid idea.

So what's this about the Serpent Society? Are they actually featuring in Cap 3 in any way, even though it's called Civil War?

I don't think the story will be Planet Hulk, but it will be how Hulk gets there if that makes sense. Like they visit a planet, and Hulk is king. And yeah, I think Gunn is lying, not that I blame him.

I still think the central plotline will be Quill and his father. But, I also think that perhaps someone, perhaps even Quill's papa, could perhaps use Hulk as a weapon of sorts.

Makes sense, they're going to be a big part of the Infinity storyline for sure.

I think it was simply a joke to hide the Iron Man and Black Panther reveal.

I'm THRILLED with this Phase 3 line-up. It was basically my dream line-up. My order of excitement:

1.) Infinity War
2.) Captain Marvel
3.) Guardians 2
4.) Civil War
5.) Black Panther
6.) Inhumans
7.) Dr. Strange
8.) Ragnorak
9.) Ant-Man

And yeah, I think the Planet Hulk stuff is gonna turn out to be true. Which means El Mayimbe will be somewhat vindicated. Dammit. (But I can't wait to see it if it is!)

I also think GOTG2 is Planet Hulk.

Oh I thought he was the superstar of the 1st film. :woot:

He was, but on re-watch you really realise how small his role was, he even gets the least to do in the final battle, despite having all the best moments of course. I just want more of him personally.

If they don't follow that formula I'd be a lot more optimistic about it. Hulk is probably my favourite character of the Avengers but I only like rather than love the films we've had so far. Well, this is probably obvious after my comments, but Hulk is absolutely my favourite of the Avengers, by some way, so I feel he is just being under-utilised, especially with not getting a solo movie in phase 3.

But yeah, I loved the 1st Hulk movie, TIH was okay, but I think they can better both, there are countless stories from the comics they could adapt.

So what's this about the Serpent Society? Are they actually featuring in Cap 3 in any way, even though it's called Civil War?

Marvel announced that as a joke so they could save Civil War for last

**** sake!!! All these Marvel movies and Still no Captain Britain film! Damm you Marvels!!

It's crazy to think that Marvel Studios is now too big for SD Comic-Con haha. The level of Hype they are able to generate for something like this would probably have incited a riot if they did this at SDCC

For real! There would have been fatalities.

Kudos, Marvel. Ku-****ing-dose.
