But look at the Scott Summers jaw, he was so meant to be Cyclops.

I want Garret Hudlund as Scott.

But imo the best was his Black and Silver X-Force suit, felt more practical in coloring but still had the mask and those badass red eyes
That one is pretty cool too. But I think it would be nice to take a little break from black suits. :p

Start with the yellow one. Brown or blue.

I hope MCU Wolverine is both an Avenger and a X-Men like in the comics

Wolverine is more a X-Men than an Avenger, though.
Not until Bendis New Avengers run that he was finally inserted on to the team (along with Spidey, Luke Cage, Jessica Drew, Mockingbird, etc). A decision that I heard has caused controversies and uproar among editors and fans alike at the time.

It’s interesting, after shankman and raimi it seems like marvel is enjoying working with people they’ve already worked with. I wonder if any of them are being talked to about directing the x-men movie?

Lol very true, although at least its not black leather
but yeah, I wanna see something primary colored, with a mask

I didn't complain. I thought it was one of the better temporary lineups.

Yeah, I don't think most X-Fans were upset about it

Yep. I think MCU Wolverine will join both teams as a part-time member and also spend a lot of time doing his own thing away from teams.

Which of them would be good enough to take on X-Men? Russos? Coogler?

I would love to see a Russos Wolverine movie
not sure who I'd pick for the team film though

Coogler.

He did a very decent job with female characters in BP, which alone is something that already contrasts with what FOX has done in the past.

But I prefer a new name.

I do feel like the X-Men represent such a paradigm shift in the MCU that new talent should largely be brought in to shepherd that corner.

Though if they handed any X-Men property to Coogler, I wouldn’t be mad. I’m good on the Russos though. They are great with ensembles so I see the appeal, but I don’t think they do much in the way of injecting much thematic meaning into their films. Feels antithetical to this particular franchise.

I've been thinking about this, what about Jeremy Allen White as Wolverine?

He's short, been giving a great performance since Shameless and has been getting a lot of praise from The Bear. He plays angry a lot. And very well.

Just needs to get the hair right and the beard. If you want to be picky, he might not be the voice people usually expect from Wolverine, but neither does Egerton.

He's been amazing since Shameless, but The Bear is giving him a lot more visibility. It's being praised everywhere.

He's a great actor, for sure.

Yeah, he's a fantastic performer. I really loved The Bear. And after looking at these pics I'm kinda surprised he hasn't been floated around more. I definitely wouldn't mind if he ended up being our Logan.

Okay, yeah. That's it. That works. I can immediately see it.

He really reminds me more of Esad Ribics Wolverine.

I lowkey had the same thoughts when I watched it about a little over a month ago. Part of me likes the idea another part of me isn't quite on board. He's a great actor though, young, fit, and definitely on the rise so why not.

I still have this fantasy of a Wolverine Weapon x origin done right, but it's a monster movie and feral Logan (our monster) is loose in the compound. Through the first half of movie the we follow a small team of guards trying to track him down and retrieve him. We don't see much of him at first as he's shrouded in shadows and blood, he wears the iconic visor and equipment. As the movie goes on and this response team is taken out one by one, the plot then change perspective and we now follow logan as he hunts down the guy who did this to him. The movie would finish with Logan escaping the facility in Canadian snow and wilds. And a post credit scene can be a time skip of him in a bar or something in modern day.

Directed by David Trachtenberg

I still think Martin Sensmeier might make an interesting new Logan. And (if we're willing to ignore that he was already in Inhumans) so could Iwan Rheon.
