I know its common place for DLC to cost a lot now as well but £35 is ridiculous.

The Kombat Pack has a lot of content but it is a little too expensive. Can't remember If It was the same for Injustice 2, however..I am a fool that will probably end up getting it! I got the standard edition with the plan to get the pack separately late on.

I would really love to see all dlc characters added to my character selection screen!

I'm not buying the Season Pass ( and the Game ) until I know more of who the DLC characters will be.

Spawn must be in it for me to even consider it. Then hopefully some MK characters like Ermac and Kenshi ( unless they are dead story wise......lol ).

btw......just how bad is the grinding/loot box "controversy" in this game? is it really as bad as some people are saying to be able to unlock decent gear and moves?

let's say it is. then for me, it would be a pretty weak list because there's only one character ( aside from Shang Tsung ) who interests me. Spawn.

I'm playing the game right now and yeah, going to ignore Tower of Time for a while and just do the 1st Klassic Tower for the characyer endings.

Most of skins I want are in the Krypt anyway

See of all of them I thought that would actually be pretty realistic just because they had MK characters in Injustice 2 and both made by the same studio. Probably a good way to grab a section of that other games audience and make them potentially get this one.

I just don't see DC letting one of their characters be in an MK game and especially one as extreme as MK11. DC vs MK was watered down as is Injustice. However, if they did agree then Joker would definetly be one of allowed characters.

Terminator actually makes sense for a guest character though because of the timelines stuff and Sindel was referenced in the story a couple of times by Kitanna and Shao Khan

Terminator would be interesting to see how they impliment the endo-skeleton which could add a bit of variety to the fatality and fatal blows system. Wonder if they would have the terminator show permanent battle damage showing the endo-skeleton underneath and if they would have a fully bare skeleton as an alt?

That would be an awesome skin I hope they have the T2 T-800 as the default look with T1 and a full on endo-skeleton as skins alts

I'd be more ok with dark side super hero characters like Orion of the new god's from DC he was shown in the comic's to ripout Dark side's heart with his bare hand's he fit's with mortal kombat then most.

BTw I always supected the reason Raiden was so invested on earth was cause he pulled a zeus /odin and had some kid's with an earth realm woman . I had this thought since that show of mortal kombat conquest . that kristina locan played Taja the theif & ally of kong lou , who my have been an ancestor of and it's possible some other elder god's that were buddies of his did as well.

it' explain so much why he hand picked these figthers for centuries and was so invested

In a new video created by the Wired team, Boon explain all the details you need to know about each of them before playing the hit title.

Rumor has it that Spawn, Joker, Terminator, Ash, Shang Tsung, Sindel, Sheeva, Nightwolf, and Fujin are also on their way to join the MK11 roster, but NetherRealm Studios has not revealed any official details on their post-launch plans for the critically acclaimed game. Something very minor but I wish we could customize the character selection screen photos. Like replacing the revenant characters with their younger selfs or updating Scorpion and Sub-Zero with their grandmaster looks

First time playing on tv since the switch update and yeah this looks better actually I’m impressed. Still has issues switching from gameplay to the cinematics in story mode and the krypt looks like sh*+.

I was going to give this piece of anti consumer garbage a fair shot after I heard they were going to patch the grind...but then the server for neatherrealm disconnected me..

Is this game always online?

I'm going to try to get my money back screw this.

Always online DRM. Seems you have to be connected to their servers to play the game. Half the game is shut off if you can't connect and your Koins and time krystals are gone for the time being. No online matches, towers of time or Krypt.

I don't know what I'm sick and tired of the most. Microtransactions or controversy for every little thing. Negatives are focused on and over shadow the goods of games

YouTube has tons of video of people complaining about the grinding and keep talking about the controversy of it and Jax's ending.

There's hardly any mentions of the patch coming soon that will fix issues with Towers of Time and making the grinding easier/faster along with rewards to players because of the launch issues

What I'm tired of is that they give reasons for controversies.

They know we hate that, but it doesn't matter. It's still there because money talks. Had they been less greedy, maybe we'd be talking about what actually matters and they would have an easier time working on the post-launch.

Yeah but why focus on the bad **** over and over? Yeah it sucks and shouldn't have been done but it is what is and other companies are doing it as well. The game itself is great but all the attention people want to beat the dead horse about is the same issue.

It's being tweaked on because people made a huge deal out of it.

I lament the fact that we're talking about it because this shouldn't be a thing that plagues video-games, but people have to talk about it. They have to express their discontent with it and, more importantly, speak with their wallets.

More and more the gamers are showing their disregard towards these kinds of practices and that's important.

Either don't buy and move on or provide constructive criticism appropriately. Multiple rants on social media is not the best way, it's just annoying

If the game is great for you and that's all you wish to talk about them that's fine. Personally I applaud people like Yong Yea, Angry Joe, Maxamillion Dood or The Quartering for being consumer advocates. I can't just pretend that MK11 is a great game and isn't marred badly by a mobile game ethos.

To me it's an ok entry in the series considered next to the previous entries even outside of the bad decisions like having multiple in game currencies as well as having a staggered levelling up system for every item of gear that all look the same and bland. Not to mention that what seems to be the main modes they wish us to sink our time into is just goofy, frustrating combat.

I stand by what I said earlier when I got the game. I regret buying the premium edition. Once the combat pack is out this goes in the second hand bargain bin.

This micro transaction bull**** is why I never pre-purchase games. Had I known MK 11 was going to be marred by it and always on DRM anti-consumer issues I would not have bought it, period.
