Movie Stuff You Only Now Just Realized - Part 7

In the BTFF trilogy in a very short period of time relative to his travels Marty McFly suffers multiple head trauma that conks him out MULTIPLE times.

Like... If I got hit by a car hard enough to knock me out after hitting the pavement I wouldn't be in much shape to do that like three or four more times in the following two weeks. But Marty? He's like a freaking NFL vet.

the guy who voiced Johnny's dad in Sing was also the voice of Darth Maul in Phantom Menace *mind blown gif*

He’s also the “What a bunch of a-holes” Nova Corps officer in Guardians of the Galaxy.

And The Tick 2.0.

But his greatest role was:

the ships that Palpatine and Vader are on at the end of Episode 3 are the Republic ones in the opening but with the red striping removed *mind blown*.

And I still find it funny that it took 20 years to build the first Death Star but the Empire cranked out the even larger second Death Star in less than four. :o

i think at that case they were building both at near the same time and when the first was destroyed they made the new one even faster but held back on the info of the weapon being ready to surprise the rebels.

Also the Empire could observe the construction of the first Death Star and figure out lots of ways to save time on the second go. Plus they only had to make 3/4 of it this time. I can buy it.

Speaking of Star Wars, Ewan McGregor has played a lot of characters that other actors played before at different ages. Obi-Wan in the prequels, Danny Torrance in 'Doctor Sleep,' Christopher Robin in 'Christopher Robin.' I suppose 'Big Fish' counts too.

It's not really something new but since I'm re watching the movie I think it could make for a fun anecdote.

Indiana Jones and The Lost Ark: when Indiana flees from the idol temple and crosses path with an impaled Alfredo Molina, I thought he said : stupido..but it was Satipo, the name of the character, it was not before I watched the movie in English with English sub that I noticed that.

Edit: even in French I still hear Adios stupido, only a close listening and several rewinds I can hear it correctly.

In John Carpenter's Christine the CQB 241 plate that is on the car when it is restored was on the car when Arnie bought it and it repaired itself along with the rest of the car during the 'restoration' from junky car to brand new.

The theme when Cap picks up Mjolnir is the same as when he jumps over the chasm in The First Avenger.

Maybe I’m wrong, but I think the word “zombie” is only said once in Romero’s Dead trilogy.

A deleted scene in 'X-Men: Apocalypse has the kids going to the arcade, where Scott (Tye Sheridan) and Jean play the game Joust. I don't know if this was intentional, but Tye also played Wade in 'Ready Player One,' and in the book version (not the movie, just the book), Wade had to play a round of Joust to get the first key.

Norwegian actor Aksel Hennie has starred in two big-budget films (one great, one terrible) where he plays an astronaut, and he appears alongside a gallery of actors who have also played Marvel characters. The Martian has Winter Soldier, Mordo, Wong, Uncle Aaron, Luis, Sue Storm, and Vuk, while Cloverfield Paradox has Zemo, Ayesha, and Chris O'Dowd. (Also Gugu who will be on the Loki show in an unrevealed role.)

In The Polar Express, the boy pulls the train whistle, he says "I've wanted to do that my whole life". In Back To the Future III, Doc Brown does and says the same thing. Both movies are directed by Robert Zemeckis

Both Lethal Weapon and Die Hard are not only Christmas timed action movies released one year apart but both feature action leads that have shoot outs and run and gun scenes with protagonists without footwear.
